440,781. Sliding - clasp fastenings. KRANTZ, H., 31, Edith Grove, Chelsea, London. May 21, 1935, No. 14855. [Class 44] Separately made cover pieces of leather, rubber, cloth or metal are fitted at the ends of a sliding- clasp fastener to receive and grip the slider, the pull piece of which enters a slot 2 in the cover piece. A finger piece 3 on the cover facilitates manipulation. Simple cover members may be provided at the underside ends of the fastener. The fastener may be provided with lengthwise covering flaps 10 ; such flaps may be formed by doubling back the usual stringer tapes.
