Abstract
436,504. Hook fastenings. BONORA, G., 185, Via Maggiore, Bologna, Italy. April 23, 1935, No. 12226. Convention date, July 20, 1934. [Class 44] A fastening particularly for motor-car bonnets comprises a hook 6 connected by a link 8 to a bracket 1 on the bonnet side and actuated by a spring link 4 to engage a hooked bracket 15 on the chassis, the spring link being connected to a crank arm 2, on a pin 2<a>, which moves past the dead centre position to rest against a stop 13 when the hook is engaged. A second stop 14 holds the crank arm in the disengaged position and a projection 11 on the link 8 supports the link and hook when the hook is disengaged.
