401,020. Hydraulic transmission of power. CAMPBELL, D., 7, Beech Avenue, Dumbreck, Glasgow, May 18, 1932, No. 14086. [Class 69 (ii).] A hydraulic power transmitter has two impellers A slidably mounted on a shaft B, so that they may be brought opposite the forward blades D or reverse blades E of turbines F on shafts G. The impellers may be slid independently or simultaneously in opposite directions, and the shaft B is driven by bevel or worm gearing P from a shaft at right angles thereto. The casing J is in two sections jointed on a plane passing through the axis of the shafts.
