438,616. Hydraulic transmission of power. BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO., Ltd., and HULSE, F. W., Armoury Road, Small Heath, Birmingham. June 20, 1934, No. 18194. [Class 69 (ii)] In hydraulic transmission gear, the driving vanes 10 are carried by an axially - adjustable member 12, so that they may be moved in slots in a dished member 7, to lie flush with the face of the member when no drive is to be transmitted or to be in close proximity to the driven vanes 3 for transmission of drive. According to the Provisional Specification, the driven vanes may be so moved.
