Abstract

355,383. Permutation padlocks. MEYER, F., 14, Behrenstrasse, Berlin. May 30, 1930, No. 16744. [Class 44.] A padlock comprises a hook 18, the mouth of which is closed by a flat casing 9, held in position against shoulders 19 by a permutation locking device. The hook is formed with teeth 1 which project through a slot in a sleeve 3, and engage the numeral rings. The rings 6, 8 are recessed to receive the head 4 of the sleeve 3 and the end 20 of the casing. The opening combination of the rings is retained by a cover 21, Fig. 3, which is slipped over the rings. The cover has a window 22 and is marked with the opening combination.
