Abstract

238,089. Hill, W. J. Sept. 30, 1924. Hasp fastenings. - The bolt-operating knob a of a hasp fastening for attachÚ &c. cases is blocked against accidental retraction by lugs c<2> on a ring c mounted on a fixed centre behind the knob, the ring being turned through a right angle to blocking position. Projections on the casing bear against the inner circumference of the ring, and two of the projections co-operate with a projection on the ring to limit its rotation. A projection on the knob may lie over the hasp in the engaging position, or a cranked bolt projecting through the casing, as described in Specification 205,740, may be used.
