Abstract

350,848. Keyhole covers. WERCKMEISTER, W., 26, Badenschestrasse, Wilmersdorf, Baden. Sept. 18, 1930, No. 27915. [Class 44.] A protective device for preventing unauthorized use of a motor vehicle having a keyhole d in the door handle comprises a tubular casing f adapted to slide on to the handle members b, c, a slot t being provided to allow passage of the handle stem a. The device is secured by a U-shaped member h, one limb of which is passed through slots u in the casing, a padlock (not shown) being then passed through apertures m. Member h prevents withdrawal of stem a along slot t. The device may have rounded or pointed extensions w, x to facilitate handling, and may carry a reflector s and be brilliantly coloured to attract attention when the car is being driven with the device in place.
