325,756. Thompson, H. A., and Swinney Bros., Ltd. May 13, 1929. Spray burners.-In a liquidfuel burner of the kind comprising a tubular member 26, having a jet 14 formed in its outer closed end, a plug 17 screwed into the chamber 26, forming an annular chamber 23 communicating with the jet by one or more tangential passages 24 and with the fuel-supply pipe by passages 25 in the plug; the passages 25 are arranged slantingly in a circumferential direction on the outer surface of the plug, the jet 16 has outer and inner ends of concave form and an oil-tight joint is formed between the member 26 and supply pipe 13.
