Atmospheric gas burners.-In a burner in which a hood b is provided at the inlet, end of the mixing-tube a, the inlet portion of the mixing-tube is upwardly deflected to compensate for the effect of the hood. The double gas-fire burner shown comprises two sets of apertures d, f for the flame nozzles, the inner nozzles being supplied by the tube a and the outer nozzles by a tube e.
