Abstract

Atmospheric gas, spray, and pulverulent-fuel burners, - The mixture is caused to whirl by means of a hollow member centrally disposed in the burner nozzle, the walls of the member being formed of curved strips b through the spaces f between which the mixture passes, as shown by the arrows. In the form shown, the inner closed end c of the hollow member is formed as a distributing cone and the outer end d is flared. The device is also illustrated as applied to burners of other than circular section.
