304,154. Murdoch, A. Jan. 13, 1928, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Scaling fee not paid). Bottles, non-refillable.- A device for a non-refillable bottle comprises a packing ring 4, resting on an internal shoulder 3 on the neck, and co-operating with a ball valve 5 to prevent insertion of liquid when the bottle is upright. The motion of the valve is controlled by a cage comprising legs 6 bent downwardly from a plate 7 and held in position by upwardly bent spacers 8 bearing against a nipple 9 resting on a shoulder 11 in the neck and secured by cement 13. The nipple is formed with an aperture 15 normally closed by a cork &c. 16. In a modified form the spacers 8 may depend from the nipple 9. Specification 10126/15 is referred to.
