Bottles, non-refillable.- fn a non-refillable bottle, a cork disc C, apertured at D, is placed on the top of the neck B so as to extend the whole width of the bottle. A valve E of inverted saucer shape, is normally held on the opening by a ball H, and is kept in position by a cup-shaped device F, Figs. 1 and 6, having a cone-shaped end G. The end is inclined at about 45‹ to the cylindrical portion so as to provide a step at the line of junction. Ribs I, on the outside of the device F, form passages J for the outlet of the liquid, and a cap K with a central opening L for the reception of a temporary cork is sprung or screwed upon the neck of the bottle. Spring projections or corrugations N on the cap may engage with a spring collar in the neck of the bottle, to lock the cap in position.
