478,792. Non - refillable bottles. PAOLINI, D. May 14, 1937, No. 13674. Addition to 467,673. [Class 125 (i)] Withdrawal of the tube 3, described in the parent Specification, from the neck of the bottle is limited by a shoulder 4 on the tube which coacts with a sealing washer 10 secured to the bottle neck by a capsule 9. The upper end of the tube is closed by a disc 7 secured by a capsule 8. A plug 14 secured in the lower end of the tube provides a seat for a floating valve 15, 18 held on the seat by a ball 13. Ribs 12 in the tube provide liquid channels, and a partition 11 prevents access to the valve through the pouring openings 5. The valve 15, 18 is hollow and is made in two separable parts, so that it may be ballasted in accordance with the density of the liquid in the bottle. Fraudulent re-use is prevented by the valve and by the capsule 9, which must be broken to permit withdrawal of the tube.
