Abstract

304,161. Le Sueur, F. H. Sept. 15, 1937. Bottles, non-refillable.-A device for a non- refillable bottle comprises a sleeve g, apertured at j and having a sleeve valve m sliding thereon and adapted to uncover the aperture when the bottle is inverted. The top of the sleeve is normally closed by a flap valve 12 held in place by a ball 13. The motion of the ball is limited by a projection v on a baffle device s. To fix the sleeve in place, the bottle neck is divided into two parts, held together by a spun metal band z, which may be embossed &c. The parts of the device may be sufficiently opaque to increase the difficulty of tampering.
