334,495. Penate, E. M., and Fernandez, J. J. Aug. 7, 1929. Divided on 334,681. Bottles, non-refillable.-A stopper for a non-refillable bottle comprises a tubular member 4 containing valve devices and held in position by an expanding ring 6 co-operating with recesses 3, 7 in the bottle neck and the member 4 respectively, washers 10, 11 forming a tight joint. The member 4 is chambered to receive a valve housing 5 open at the bottom and secured by an apertured plug 15 and a washer 19. The valve comprises a cork &c. disc 26, disposed beneath a distance piece 27 and ball 29. The piece 27, Fig. 4, is provided with star-shaped flanges 28. Upon inverting the bottle, the membars 26, 27, 29 move away from the plug 15 and the liquid escapes through apertures 16, 22, 14.
