Abstract

260,085. Bucknall, G. H., and Bucknall, T., (trading as Herbert & Co., T.), and Morland & Impey, Ltd. Sept. 25,1925. Seal locks, of the kind where the seal is secured by a hinged flap with a projection entering the lock casing for engagement with a bolt, are constructed so that when the lock bolt or padlock shackle is withdrawn by the key the bolt securing the hinged flap is held back thereby. In the form shown, the flap C hinged to the casing A at B, has a projection c engaged by the spring bolt e. When the lock bolt k is withdrawn, a tail j thereon engages a lug h on the bolt e to withdraw and retain it until the bolt k is shot. The cover C can be locked after the bolt k is shot by snapping the projection c over the bolt e.
