Abstract

266,105. Hill, W. J. Jan. 19, 1926. Hasp locks; reversible locks.-A suit or attache case lock has a centrally dished locking member rotating on the key-pin and is reversible bodily for use on either side of the case. The bolt b is'operated by the nozzle b<1> and has a projection b<3>. A disc c with a centrally dished part turns in the dished plate f<1> on the key-pin e when diametrically opposite lugs on the key engage the recesses e<3>. The lug e<1> on the disc is thereby brought into or removed from the path of the lug b<3> for locking or unlocking the bolt. The keyhole b<2> is double and the lock is bodily reversible for use on either side of the case. A pair of depressions e<2> on the disc snap into recesses in the plate f' to locate the disc in its two extreme positions.
