Aeroplanes; helicopters; propelling. - An aeroplane has a tractor propeller b, two pusher propellers e, at the rear of the main plane, and two lifting propellers d, of larger diameter than the propellers e, arranged beneath the main plane. For high speeds, the propellers b, e are used, the propellers d being locked with their blades in a longitudinal position, and for low speeds the propellers b, d are employed.
