Aeroplanes; airships; aerostats; cars and cabins; propelling; steering, balancing, and regulating altitude.-Three fuselages 10, 11, 12, Fig. 1, which carry planes 35, 36, ace propelled by a large multi-bladed propeller 25 at the rear of the central fuselage and propellers 16 on the front of the side fuselages which are driven by engines in, the fuselages controlled from a cabin in the central fuselage. The planes are supported by stanchions 34 passing through shafts 33 which can be rotated. The rudders 28, 31 are carried by stays 27 fixed to the side fuselages. Gas-filled bags may replace the side fuselages.
