Abstract

1,143,158. Lawnmowers. SOLO KLEINMOTOREN G.m.b.H. 29 Aug., 1967 [13 July, 1967], No. 39410/67. Heading A1F. [Also in Division F1] The mower housing 1 is cast in one piece with parts of an internal combustion engine which drives cutting blades. A petrol tank 5, carburettor 10, air filter holder 9, exhaust manifold 12 and parts 6 and 7 accommodating the cylinder 8 of the engine are all integral with the mower housing and are completed by a cover 18. The crankshaft is supported in aperture 28 and carries at its lower end a blower plate 33 which makes a seal with a flange on the housing by means of a labyrinth and is arranged to blow air over the cylinder 8. The cutter blades are secured below the blower. An insulating chamber 13 is placed between the exhaust manifold and the crank case 4. A contact breaker or ignition coil is supported on plates 16, 17 and a speed governor air vane is incorporated.
