Abstract

166,419. Cook, A. H. July 26,1920. Impeller blades. - A mixing fan 1 between a carburettor and an explosion engine has a peripheral flange 14 to give rigidity and to prevent the blades from being distorted; it is mounted in pivot bearings 10, 11, 12, 13 and has, passing through its boss, a wick 16 by which gasolene is soaked up and conveyed from the end facing the carburettor to the opposite end to lubricate the pivot on the engine side.
