Abstract

1409564 Cooling engines HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS AB 9 Nov 1972 [12 Nov 1971] 51643/72 Headings B7B and B7H [Also in Division F1] A lawnmower comprises frame 3 for mounting an internal combustion engine 1, a bonnet 9 covering the engine and forming with the frame an air chamber having an air inlet 10, and a blower such as an impeller which draws in air from the chamber via inlet 12 into a cooling jacket 7 for the engine. The impeller has a chord starter 5 and is surrounded by a casing 6. Air from the cooling jacket 7 is exhausted through aperture 8. The air inlet from the carburetter (not shown) is disposed in the air chamber which may be partitioned. Ventilation apertures 13 may be provided in the bonnet 9.
