Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tool-attachable mounting member that can be used in an opening of a component, for example, to connect the said component with a second component or to attach an attachable to the mounting member further part on the component or to a one-piece with To attach the mounting member formed attachment part on the component.
  • the component preferably comprises wood material and in particular pressed chip material. Other materials such as metals or plastics or pressed material particles consisting of materials other than wood, in particular elongated material particles, can also be used for the component to which the mounting element can be fastened without tools in an opening of the component. In particular, but not exclusively, the mounting element can find application in the furniture industry.
  • substantially peg-shaped, ie dübeiförmigen mounting elements for the connection of two components also exist oval-shaped plate-like connecting elements, such as those offered by Lamello AG, Switzerland.
  • plate-like connecting or mounting elements are in DE 20 2008 016 179 U l, DE 28 16 134 AI, DE 196 04 243 AI, EP 1 630 427 AI, EP 1 980 758 A2, AT 373 046, ES 2,003,266 and US 5,096,328.
  • the object of the invention is to propose a particularly simple and comfortable to use mounting element for tool-free attachment in an opening of a component, wherein the mounting member is held automatically with sufficiently high holding forces in the opening of the component when it has been used there.
  • the construction of the mounting element should be simple and inexpensive.
  • the mounting element in thickness and width extension is not expandable and on its outer side has at least one bounded by a boundary recess in the protruding from an edge region of the recess projecting a resilient barb arm with a barb projection at its free end, and
  • the barb projection protrudes beyond a defined by the boundary of the recess level to the outer surface of the mounting member
  • the mounting element according to the invention can be used both in a component opening with adjoining receiving recess (thus, for example, in a bore in the component) and in an aperture which can be grasped behind, ie in a hole of the component; In both cases, the inventive construction of the mounting member ensures that this component is reliably held when tensile stresses occur.
  • the mounting element according to the invention can be used without tools in the opening of a component. Thus, if two components are connected to the mounting element according to the invention, then the two components are connected to each other substantially captive.
  • the mounting element according to the invention is not expandable in terms of its thickness and width extension; it may be hollow or made of solid material, wherein the elasticity of the barb projection and arm must be ensured by providing for the presence of the recess in the outside of the mounting member. It also requires no insert element in the mounting element, so that this anchored in the component or in the opening of the component.
  • the mounting element has at least one barb arm with a barb projection, wherein the arm projects with the projection into a recess on the outside of the mounting element.
  • the recess is dimensioned in relation to the depth extent such that the barb projection or the barb arm can retreat when the mounting element is inserted into the opening of the component. Due to the resulting in a deformation of the barb arm mechanical Stress arise restoring forces, which cooperate with the component or with the opening of the component in order to fix the mounting member in the component against backward movements.
  • this holding mechanism is based either on a gripping behind the opening edge in the component or on the pressing of the barb projection against the inside of a receiving recess in the component (for example, bore), wherein added in pressboard material or generally wood or other having a rough surface component materials, that the barb projection presses into the material of the component and is held there in a form-fitting manner substantially.
  • the barbed arm with barbed projection can retreat to build up its contact force or retention force.
  • the retaining projection should not be designed as an annular bead but rather in such a way that optionally distributed over the outer surface or the circumference of the mounting element a plurality of individual barb arms are arranged with barbs projections.
  • the mounting element in the mounting element according to the invention is further provided that extends from the edge region of the recess from which protrudes from the barb arm, an obliquely outwardly extending, the barb arm facing away lever projection, which exerts an additional contact force when introduced into a receiving recess opening of the component on the barb projection which likewise acts in the direction of the contact force of the barb projection arising as a result of the curvature of the barb arm, wherein the lever bump itself also exerts a contact force on the inside of the receiving recess and thus causes an additional restraining force, or as a result of insertion into a tangible opening of the component an associated inward movement exerts an additional rear-disengaging movement and / or a rear-grip bias on the barb projection.
  • the barb arm and lever projection or lever with lever projection are connected in opposite directions from one from the middle section.
  • the inward movement of the lever projection during insertion of the mounting element into the component opening due to the abutment of the lever projection on the opening edge or on the inside of the receiving recess causes an increased disengagement movement and thus an increased contact pressure of the barb projection for engaging behind the opening of the component or for pressing against the Inside of the receiving recess (eg hole in the component).
  • the lever projection itself provides additional retention force by being biased toward the outward motion by inward movement by the internal material stresses.
  • the mounting element according to the invention is expediently made of plastic (for example in injection molding technology). Components connected by means of the mounting element according to the invention can therefore rest reliably against each other permanently. If the components are (additionally) glued together (glued), it requires no hardening of the adhesive contacting components, which also simplifies this part of the assembly of the components.
  • the mounting element has on its outer side a plurality of in particular opposite or in particular symmetrically distributed or arranged alternately barbs projections or pairs of each cooperating barb projections and lever protrusions.
  • the mounting element is designed as a pin, bolt, angle piece, plate or strip-shaped or with a plurality of arms T-piece, cross or star-shaped and / or that the mounting element for material saving reasons Recesses, a hole, blind holes or the like. Free spaces.

To the component by the mounting member is inserted into the opening of the component and the relevant attachment part of the mounting element and thus protrudes from the component.
  • the mounting member is inserted at its two opposite ends in each case the opening of two components to then connect these two components together (for example, as in the connection of a shelf or cabinet intermediate floor with the side walls of the cabinet or Shelves or the top wall or bottom wall element with a side wall element of a cabinet or shelf body).
  • both ends of the mounting element then have the previously described barb arms and barb projections or Hebelvor- jumps.
  • the mounting element itself is formed in several parts by the opposite ends of the mounting member are formed as separate Montageelement- parts and that the two mounting member parts are connected by means of a latching connection element, which formed in the two mounting element parts receiving cavities can be used secured against moving out or which is integrally formed with one of the two mounting element parts and can be secured against being moved out into a receiving cavity formed in the other mounting element part.
  • the connection of two mounting element parts to a common mounting element and thus to the connection of two components, as described above, can be realized according to the invention without simultaneous formation of barb arms and barb projections or lever projections.
  • the two separate mounting element parts can first be used in openings provided for this purpose of two components, in order then to secure the two components to one another via the assembly element parts to be joined thereto.
  • the mounting element part or each mounting element part provided with the receiving cavity has at least one latching projection which protrudes inwardly into the receiving cavity to form a positive connection with a corresponding latching recess of the latching connection element when the mounting element part is inserted into an opening of a component.
  • the latching connection element is therefore unidirectional in the relevant assembly element part, namely against outward movements, secured.
  • the one or more locking projections expediently each have an outwardly projecting flexible latching arm which, when the mounting element part is inserted into the opening of the component, generates additional forces on the latching arm for biasing the latching projection in the direction of the latching recesses of the latching connection element.
  • the latching connection element is held even more reliably in the mounting element part.
  • the latching connection element can have a plurality of projections, in particular annular beads, with latching recesses arranged between them.
  • the two mounting element parts has the above-described receiving cavity for the latching connection element. It should be noted at this point that more than two mounting element parts can be assembled to form the mounting element. In each case, rainbowzusteckende mounting element parts must then have at least one latching connection element. If the mounting element part, in which the latching connection element is inserted, additionally has a barb arm and barb projection, then it is expedient for the latching connection element to abut against the barb arm or barb projection from the inside and possibly push it outwards, for which purpose it is expedient if barb arm is directed obliquely inwards into the receiving cavity.
  • the recess into which the barb arm projects opens into the receiving cavity and the latching connection element, upon receiving its respective end, into a receiving cavity of the respective other mounting element part on the barb arm is applied.
