Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical connector with a Isolierstoffgeophuse having insertion openings on two opposite sides of the housing, on the one hand for the insertion of an electr.
- On the pin side of the connector has a pin terminal contact, so that the connector on the contact pin of a printed circuit board or on the terminal contact pin of another mating contact can be plugged, and on the conductor side has the connector for each electrical to be connected.
- Head a leaf spring clamp connection with a leaf spring, which is in Leitereinsteckraum and diagonally against the electr. Ladder extends and clamped with its leaf spring end, the insulation-free end of the inserted conductor.
- the insulating material of the connector provides for each electrical to be connected.
- Head a connection space available, in which the contact pin and the electr.
- Ladder side by side with approximately parallel orientation can be inserted such that the contact pin and the electr. Overlap conductors with their axial lengths. In this case, the contact pin is kept fixed in position in the connection space, whereas the electr.
- Ladder in a structurally approved displacement range transversely to its conductor axis is displaceable (preferably is displaceable parallel), wherein the leaf spring end of the leaf spring clamp connection bears against the side of the electrical conductor which is opposite to the contact pin, so that the clamping force of the leaf spring the electr. Press the conductor in the direction of the contact pin.
- Electr. Connectors of this type are already in 1976 in the GB 528 993 described. They are presented there as two-pole connectors, consisting of two single-pole connectors, which are arranged in a common block housing made of insulating material, so that the two-pole Blockgetudeverbinder with respect to two pins positioned in parallel can be understood as a "plug and socket arrangement".
- the GB 1 528 993 are provided for attaching the connector to the contact pins jack terminal contacts, which are designed such that the connector can be withdrawn, if necessary, again from the contact pins.
- the existing on the other side of the connector leaf spring clamp connections for the electr If necessary, ladder can be reopened by the leaf spring of the leaf spring clamped connections are pushed back by means of a tool, so that the electr. Conductor can be pulled out of the connector again.
- Another connector of this type is from the EP 0 735 616 A2 known (see figures 18 and 19). He is referred to as an "electrical connector" on the one soldered contact pins of a printed circuit board can be plugged and also deducted from the pins as a result of a tulip spring auffedernden female terminal contact. On the other side of the connector turn is a leaf spring clamp connection for the electr. Head present, which also (as with the GB 1 528 993 ) is designed as a detachable leaf spring clamp connection.
- Both of the aforementioned connectors assume that their pin terminal contacts and their conductor terminal connections are made in their entirety from a piece of spring steel sheet, wherein the piece of spring steel sheet is deformed on the pin side to a female terminal contact and on the conductor side one integrated leaf spring clamp connection for the electr. Ladder forms. Between both sides, the piece of spring steel sheet takes over the power line function, so that care must be taken in the selection of materials on a useful current conductivity of the spring steel sheet, which is reflected in the material costs of the spring steel sheet.
- the two aforementioned connectors are designed in such a way that the pin terminal contact on the one hand and the conductor terminal connection on the other hand are sufficiently remote from each other, so that both sides can not interfere with each other.
- the insulating material of these known connectors are dimensioned correspondingly large.
- WO 00/31830 A discloses a connector in which an insulation-free end of an electr. Conductor is applied directly to a contact pin and pressed with a leaf spring against the contact pin. The conductor is displaceable in the conductor insertion opening.
- the object of the invention is to provide a connector of the aforementioned type, which is inexpensive to manufacture and its size can also be significantly reduced, so that it can be used in a confined space both as a single pole and as a multipole connector.
- a generic electrical connector is in the DE 198 03 085 A1 described.
- a generic electrical connector is in the DE 198 03 085 A1 described. From a one-piece sheet metal stamping bent part, a contact element is formed, in which a clamping spring with two mirror-symmetrical legs is issued from a base plate. Furthermore, contact springs are connected to the base plate, which have a support portion and a pressing portion.
- An electrical conductor is pressed by a clamping spring leg against the support portion of a contact spring and held fixed bearing on the support portion.
- a contact pin is pressed by the contact pressure section of a contact spring against a support surface exposed by the base plate.
- the electrical connector having the features of claim 1.
- Advantageous embodiments are described in the subclaims. Positioned between the electrical conductor and the contact pin in the region of their mutual axial overlap a contact wall, which the electr. Ladder leads during the insertion process in the connection space in the direction of its conductor axis, preferably up to a bottom-side, the contact wall towards open conductor catch bag. Through this contact wall guide the unwanted splicing of individual wires of a stranded flexible conductor is avoided.
- the contact wall is in a structurally approved displacement range transverse to the conductor axis of the electr. Ladder and together with the electr. Ladder in the direction of the contact pin displaceable, so that the electr. Head directly the contact wall and the contact wall directly contacted the contact pin.
- a connector having the above features is extremely inexpensive to manufacture.
- only a small piece of spring steel sheet is used in addition to the contact wall and only to form the leaf spring terminal connection.
- the material required for this purpose can be significantly reduced, in particular, when the leaf spring of the leaf spring clamp connection is supported on the insulating housing of the connector.
- the leaf spring clamp has a U-shaped curved two-legged leaf spring having a leaf spring clamping leg and a leaf spring holding leg, wherein the leaf spring holding leg is fixed in the insulator housing of the connector by latching with the insulating material.
- the juxtapossteckenden in the connector axial lengths of the contact pin and the electr.
- Ladder overlap. This overlap can be maximum by the electr.
- Conductor is inserted into the connection space of the connector up to a bottom-side connection wall, so that the end of the electr. Ladder close to the base of the electr.
- Contact pin or another pin is introduced. This maximum overlap ensures that the overall height of the connector is not significantly greater than the insertion depth of the electr. Conductor.
- the new connectors can per pole one or two terminal compartments for elec. Conductor, wherein for a connector with two terminal spaces, only one contact pin is sufficient when it is positioned centrally between the terminal spaces and serves both terminal spaces as a contact pin.
- the connectors according to the invention can, in principle, be plugged onto any contact pin and / or pin used in practice. It is preferred to fix the head end of the respective contact pin in the terminal space by an insulating material grip positionally accurate. This positional accuracy of the contact pin used in each case improves the contact system of the electr. Ladder on the contact pin.
- the same purpose of the positional accuracy of the contact pin is an embodiment according to which the foot end of the contact pin is held fixed in position by means of a lateral support bearing against the insulating material of the connector.
- the positionally accurate and fixed in position held in the insulating housing of the connector pins can be inserted at the request of the processing industry already by the manufacturer of the new connector in the respective connection spaces of the connector, so that then the processing industry, the connector with the foot side protruding pins directly z. B. can use in the solder holes of a circuit board and can solder.
- FIG. 1 shows a cross section through a connector in the plugged state on a contact pin 3, which is soldered into the circuit board 3.
- the contact pin 3 has the protrusion 5 and is held by means of the insulating material grip 6 positionally accurate in the connection space 7 of the insulating housing 8.
- the electr. Conductor 9 is inserted from the upper side into the connector. In the connection space 7 of the connector of the contact pin 3 and the electr. Head 9 arranged side by side and overlap with their axial lengths. By means of the protrusion 5, the contact pin contacted the electr. Head 9 directly, so that an immediate current transition between the contact pin and the electrical conductor takes place.
- the electr. Head 9 is (as the housing representation in Fig. 1 shows) by means of the spring force (clamping force) of the leaf spring 13 to the left against the contact pin 3 slidably.
- the shift takes place within the structurally approved displacement range 10. This ensures that the electr. Conductor 9 always contact-safe against the particular contact pin 3 used.
- the built-in connector leaf spring 13 is U-shaped made of a piece of spring steel sheet and has a leaf spring clamping leg 11 and a leaf spring holding leg 12. It is held fixed in position with its head and its holding leg 12 in the insulating.
- a test opening 14 is provided in the usual way. It is also possible to equip the Isolierstoffgeophuse with a pusher of insulating material, which is to be operated manually, to the leaf spring clamping leg, if necessary 11 of the electr. Press off conductor 9 so that the clamping of the electr. Conductor is solved and the electr. Ladder can be pulled out of the connector. The same result is usually achieved with an actuating opening in the insulating housing, through which a tool (eg., A screwdriver blade) can be brought up to the leaf spring clamping leg 11, as z. B. also in the FIG. 3 is shown.
- a tool eg., A screwdriver blade
- FIG. 2 shows in perspective view a multi-pole connector, with a made of insulating block housing 15.
- the built into the block housing 15 five single-pole connector are identical and correspond to the embodiment according to FIG. 1 , They are mutually aligned. This layout scheme saves space, but it can also be replaced by any other desired layout scheme.
- FIG. 3 shows the perspective cross-section of a single-pole connector according to the invention with a connection space 16 which has 17 special features for the connection of a multi-wire flexible conductor.
- the terminal compartment includes on its left side with a contact wall 18 which is positioned between the flexible conductor 17 and the contact pin 19 and in a structurally approved displacement area 20 transversely to the conductor axis of the electr.
- Conductor 17 and together with this in the direction of the contact pin 19 is slidable to a good electr. Ensure contact between the contact pin, the contact wall and the flexible conductor.
- the contact wall 18 guides the flexible conductor during the insertion process into a bottom-side conductor catching pocket 21 which is open toward the contact wall, thereby preventing individual wires from splicing off from the stranded flexible conductor 17 during the insertion process.
- the conductor terminal point between the leaf spring 22 and the contact wall 18 can be used for connecting and disconnecting the electr. Ladder are opened by a screwdriver blade is inserted via the actuating opening 23 in the terminal compartment and by means of the screwdriver blade, the leaf spring from the electr. Head is moved away. At 24 the usual test opening is provided.
- FIG. 4 shows a connector with the connector acc.
- FIG. 1 is comparable, but in which the plugged into the terminal compartment contact pin 25 has a lower support bearing 26 which is directed against the insulating housing of the connector and improves the positional accuracy of the contact pin in the terminal compartment.
- FIG. 5 shows in cross section a single-pole connector, the two connection spaces for two electr. Head 27 and 28 has and for producing an electr. Connection to only one contact pin 29 can be plugged.
- the contact pin 29 is mirror-symmetrical to its longitudinal axis and thus serves the two connection spaces as a contact pin. He has on both sides each have a support bearing 30, which ensure the positionally accurate plugging the connector on the contact pin.
- the connectors are plugged onto the contact pins of a printed circuit board or onto the connection contact pin of another counter contact (eg on an electrical device). This can optionally before or after connecting the electr. Conductor to the connector. If necessary, z.

Description
- Elektr.

Fig. 9 und Fig. 10 dargestellt.
