- the respective crane is movable on the one hand, but on the other hand has only a very small track width since the path along which the crane can be moved may only be one has limited width.
- the present invention has for its object an improved drivable To create crane of the type mentioned, the disadvantages of the prior art Avoids technology and further develops the latter in an advantageous manner.
- a crane with a crawler undercarriage is said to have a very narrow track width become manageable in the process.
- both the superstructure and the Undercarriage can be rotated about an upright axis relative to the support device are.
- the rotatability superstructure and undercarriage relative to the support device is also and just in the operating position of the support device, i.e. So on the floor offset support feet, guaranteed.
- For turning the crawler track in the ground-supported position of the support device can be the crawler track be lifted off the ground, leaving the crane alone on the jack stands.
- the support device can therefore be used to steer the crane become.
- the crane is supported on the ground, so that the crawler chassis can be lifted off the floor.
- the crawler track is in the New direction of travel rotated and set back on the ground so that the crane can then drive in the desired new direction of travel.
- the superstructure and the Undercarriage can be rotated independently of each other relative to the support device can.
- the undercarriage When turning the undercarriage with the crawler chassis will not forcibly the uppercarriage rotated and vice versa.
- Between the uppercarriage and the support device is provided with a first rotary connection.
- Between the support device and the undercarriage is a second rotary connection provided by which the three assemblies superstructure, support device and Undercarriage can be rotated individually.

- the steering movement of the crane takes place by lifting the crawler track from the ground and turning the undercarriage relative to the support device standing on the floor, holding the entire crane weight wearing.
- the support device has preferably riot points, all outside the turning circle of the undercarriage and the crawler track attached to it. This allows the Undercarriage can be turned freely in the desired new direction of travel. Preferably, it can be freely rotated 360 ° freely by the support device become.
- the invention provides a control device that a specific Sequence of the rotary movements of the uppercarriage on the one hand and the undercarriage on the other hand pretends.
- the control device controls the lowering of the support device and their rotation relative to the superstructure or undercarriage.
- the control device provides that first the support device lowered and then the crawler track is lifted off the ground. hereupon the undercarriage is then moved into the new desired direction of travel rotated. Finally, the control device causes that the crawler track is set down on the floor and the support device is raised.
- the Control device before a delayed rotation of the superstructure and undercarriage.
- the uppercarriage and undercarriage do not move in the new direction of travel at the same time turned.
- the control device works in such a way that when twisting of the superstructure in the new direction of travel both the support device and the crawler tracks are on the floor, preferably the undercarriage and look at the support device in different directions, i.e. either the undercarriage is already turned in the new direction of travel while the Support device still looks in the old direction of travel, or it is already the support device be turned in the new direction of travel while the undercarriage still looking in the old direction of travel. This makes getting up particularly safe of the crane.
- the support device with its support arms and feet or, after appropriate lifting, first the crawler chassis into the new one Direction of travel can be turned. In both cases, before turning the Upper car, however, both the support device and the crawler track hit the ground.
- the track width of the crawler track can be selected differently and on the respective available width of the route can be adjusted.
- the undercarriage including the crawler chassis has a width over everything of a maximum of four meters.
- the outer length of the caterpillars of the Crawler undercarriage can be more than twice the total width of the undercarriage including the crawler track. Relative to the track width that the The distance between the longitudinal central axes of the outer caterpillar tracks may be one Tracked chassis with a ratio of track width to track length of approximately one third or less.
- the width of the support device can advantageously be transverse to the direction of travel can be set.
- the support device can be used to widen the contact area
- the support device preferably has Support arms pivotable about an upright axis, on the cantilevered End lifting and lowering support feet are provided. The support arms can swung out into an operating position and swung together into a driving position are, preferably not in the driving position withstand the entire width of the undercarriage.
- the crane is superstructure with regard to its assemblies, Support device and undercarriage are modular.
- the respective crane can be assembled according to the modular principle.
- a between the support device and the undercarriage releasable connection can be provided, which allows the support device with to place the superstructure on top of it on different undercarriages. This makes it possible to put the crane on a narrow-track crawler chassis for special tasks to set while for conventional tasks where a wider track is available, a conventional undercarriage with normal Track width can be used.
- the support device can have a central middle part, on which several Support arms attached and an uppercarriage bearing for the rotatable mounting of the uppercarriage and an undercarriage bearing for rotatably supporting the undercarriage are provided.
- the superstructure warehouse is preferably complementary to the undercarriage bearing, i.e. the The upper carriage bearing of the middle part of the support device corresponds to that on the lower carriage provided bearing that carries the middle part or the superstructure.
