Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for edge gluing according to the preamble of Claim 1 and a tensioning unit with a device for edge gluing according to the preamble of claim 6.
- Edge gluing involves the edges of a textile web Edge strengthening agent, hereinafter called glue, applied.
- glue a textile web Edge strengthening agent
- the Solidification of the edges is used when assembling the goods in essential to prevent curling at their edges.
- the trend of Rolling untreated edges is very large with knitted fabrics. With some Woven goods have a tendency to fray the edges. This is through Solidification of the edges prevented.
- An improved dosage enables a known from DE 38 34 70 A1, on Entrance of a stenter arranged edge gluing device with a Application roll that is partially immersed in a trough filled with glue.
- the periphery of the Order roll comes with a, for example held in a needle chain, Edge strips of the fabric in contact.
- the rotation through the mass transfer offset application roll transports the glue as a continuous strip or in Form of transverse lines, if the periphery of the application roll has helical teeth owns the fabric.
- a generic tensioning unit, which a Has edge gluing device with application rolls is from the brochure synergy stenter ktt 2000 from Babcock Textilmaschinen GmbH.
- the order quantity is from Drip rate, d. H. on the viscosity of the glue, on the surface quality of the glue wheel and the tendency of the glue to dry Liquid surface to form, and from the lead, the absorbency of the Goods and the speed of the train depend.
- the order quantity can can not be chosen arbitrarily small due to the influences listed.
- edge sizing Another problem with edge sizing is the drying of the applied Glue.
- the glue is often applied after the last wet stage of the Textile finishing and before the drying stage. In this case, the drying must be done on the due to the glue higher water content of the web edges of up to 15% must be adapted.
- DE 37 06 615 C2 DE 81 11 908 U and DE 195 25 545 special drying devices in the tenter dryer known. If the glue is applied after the fabric has dried, there is an additional one Drying equipment necessary.
- Hot melt adhesives are applied at a temperature of 150 to 200 ° C and solidify within a few seconds without a drying device. you need for melting the glue special heating devices
- Application devices such as spray application heads, single-hole valves or slit valves.
- Another strengthening agent for stiffening the edges of material webs is from DE 195 06 294 A1 UV-curable, anhydrous plastic is known. This Plastic is used with a pattern such as horizontal stripes, circles, meandering, if necessary applied to a free cutting edge and then by UV light cured with a UV lamp.
- the object of the invention is a method for edge gluing according to the preamble of claim 1, the less glue and thus less drying energy than the Order required by an application roller, and a tensioning unit for implementation to develop a method according to the preamble of the claim.
- the glue is applied using the spin spray method applied the edges of the web.
- spinning spray nozzles some generate a fine beam moving on a circular path.
- a such a spin spray nozzle is described, for example, in EP 0 677 333 A1.
- the Circular path of the glue stream pulled apart into a spiral.
- the fine ones Glue spirals also maintain a certain elasticity of the web, which the others Treatment levels easier.
- the glue trail can be continuous or intermittent be applied.
- a certain, constant distance between the spinning spray nozzle and the web ensures an even application of glue.
- the Width of the glue track can be changed.
- narrow traces of glue are generated so that only a small proportion of the web during assembly must be cut off.
- the tendency to curl can also vary across the width of the Glue trace can be influenced.
- the spin spray process according to the invention also ensures a higher one Reproducibility of the order quantity of the glue as an order by one Glue wheel.
- the maximum web speed is less of that when spinning
- the viscosity of the glue depends on when the glue is applied using a glue wheel. It a glue of higher viscosity can be used. Mixing the glue with Water to reduce the viscosity is no longer necessary or the amount of water required is less. Also a lower water content of the Glue leads to lower energy consumption when drying.
- the glue can be applied by arranging the spinning spray nozzles accordingly at the top or from the bottom of the spread web at its edges and, if necessary their middle range. Through different spinning spray nozzles different traces of glue possible.
- a particularly uniform pattern of the glue application is achieved by the Material web according to claim 2 by applying a certain longitudinal tension is smoothed.
- a particularly small amount of glue possible due to a even glue application a particularly small amount of glue possible
- a glue according to claim 3 are advantageously customary for edge sizing used plastic dispersions or plastic solutions. Besides starch, bone glue or other organic solutions can also be used.
- Preheating the glue, especially the plastic dispersions or the Plastic solutions before spin spraying, especially at a temperature of 20 to 80 ° C, according to claim 4 reduces the viscosity of the glue.
- the preheated glue can be sprayed undiluted or less diluted and dries faster than a glue sprayed at room temperature.
- the amount of applied by the spin spray nozzle Glue by varying the pressure of the glue fed to the spinning spray nozzle and / or the pressure of the air supplied to the spinning spray nozzle can be regulated.
- the amount of glue applied can be determined by measuring the resistance.
- a tensioning unit according to the invention has a device according to claim 6 for edge gluing on with spray nozzles in an area in which the Spread out and smoothed is present at a certain distance from the Goods web are arranged.
- the spin spray nozzles are either above or below the web at the two edges and, in the case of a double Web width, arranged in the mine of the web.
- a tensioning unit according to the invention can optionally be used as a tensioning frame with a Dryer, as overstretch field with subsequent shrink dryer or as Be leveling frame.
- the spinning spray nozzles are behind or at the level of Spreading agent and arranged in front of the fasteners.
- This arrangement of Spinning spray nozzles uses the area available in known tensioning units in front of the fasteners in which the web is spread and smoothed is present.
- Fasteners such as pressure rollers or pressure tapes at Pinning on and appropriate means when tapping, have cutouts for the Glue trail on.
- the device for edge gluing arranged on the tension chain.
- the device for edge gluing assigns means for detaching the web from the tension chains and for smoothing the web and fasteners.
- the Spin spray heads are at a certain distance above or below this Arranged means.
- the fastening means arranged behind the means for re-attach the web to the tension chains also point Cutouts for the glue track.
- the formation of the squeezing roller as a vacuum roller according to claim 10 improves the flatness of the web on the needle roller and thus the Glue trail.
- Devices for edge gluing are particularly structurally simple Claim 11 with means for releasing the web from the tension chain and Dandruff and with holding means and according to claim 12 with a squeezing roller and a holding wire.
- the invention is illustrated schematically in the drawing using three Examples further explained.
