SUBSTITUIERTE AZABICYCLOALKANE
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft substituierte Azabicycloalkane, Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung, ferner
selektive herbizide Mittel, die als Wirkstoffe solche substituierten Azabicycloalkane enthalten und Verfahren zur
Bekämpfung von Ungräsern unter Verwendung der neuen Wirkstoffe
oder der sie enthaltenden Mittel.
Der Ausdruck "Azabicycloalkane11 wird hier und im folgenden
für substituierte 2-Azabicyclo[4.4.0]-decane (Decahydrochinoline
Xind 7·Azabicyclo(4.3.0!-nonane (Octahydroindole) gebraucht.
Die substituierten Azabicycloalkane gemäss der Erfindung
entsprechen der Formel I:

In dieser Formel bedeuten:
R einen durch Chlor substituierten Alkylrest mit 2 oder 3 Kohlenstoffatomen oder einen geradkettigen oder
verzweigten Alkenylrest mit 3 oder 4 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R, und R„ je Wasserstoff oder das eine Methyl und das andere
Wasserstoff und
η die Zahl 1 oder 2.
Unter den durch Chlor substituierten AlkyLresten mit 2 bis 3
Kohlenstoffatomen sind der einfach substituierte Aethyl-, n-Propyl- oder Isopropylrest zu verstehen.

Die geradkettigen oder verzweigten Alkenylreste mit 3 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen umfassen den Allyl-, 2-Butenyl-, 3-Butenyl und
den Methylallylrest.
Die substituierten Azabicycloalkane der Formel I werden
erfindungsgemäss erhalten, indem man ein Azabicycloalkan der Formel II
'(CH,
entweder mit einem Thiokohlensäurehalogenid der Formel III
HaI-C-S-R (III)
oder mit den Bildungskomponenten eines solchen Thiokohlensäurehalogenids, Phosgen und einem Alkalimetallsalz eines Mercaptans der
Formel IV .
R-SH (IV)
in Gegenwart eines säurebindenden Mittet umsetzt. In den Formeln
II bis IV haben R, Rp R~ und η die unter Formel I angegebenen
Bedeutungen, Hai in der Formel III steht für Chlor oder Brom. Es ist ratsam, die Umsetzungen in einem gegenüber den Reaktionsteilnehmern inerten Lösungs- und/oder Verdünnungsmittel durchzuführen.
Die Art des zu verwendenden Verteilungsmittels wird weitgehend von
dem in die Reaktion eingesetzten säurebindenden Mittel bestimir.t.
Werden organische Basen, wie tertiäre Amine, eingesetzt, so ist es ratsam, auch organische Lösungsmittel zu verwenden. Bei anorganischen
Basen sind Wasser und wässrige Gemische von tnit Wasser mischbaren
organischen Lösungsmittel* geeignet. Im allgemeinen können folgende
tertiäre Amine als säurebindende Mittel dienen: Pyridin und Pyridinbasen, Triäthylamin etc.; ebenso kann das jeweilige Azabicycloalkan der Formel II, im Ueberschuss in die Reaktion eingesetzt, als
säurebindendes Mittel dienen. Von anorganischen Basen kommen die Hydroxide und Carbonate der Alkali- und Erdalkalimetalle, in erster
Linie Natriumhydroxid, Natriumcarbonat, Kaliumcarbonat, ferner die
Hydroxide und Carbonate des Lithiums, Bariums, Strontiums, Magnesiums sowie qunttrnUre Ararnoniuia-Verbintkmgc-n, die In Gegenwart von

Wasser als Basen reagieren, beispielsweise Tetramethylammoniumhydroxid,
ect., in Betracht.
Als Lösungsmittel können verwendet werden: aliphatische und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe und Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe, wie
Benzol, Toluol, Xylole, Petrolather, Chlorbenzol, Methylenchlorid,
Chloroform, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Aether und ätherartige Lösungsmittel, wie Dialkylather, Tetrahydrofuran;, als mit Wasser mischbare
Lösungsmittel kommen in Betracht: Alkanole, Ketone usw.
Bei der Umsetzung eines Azabicycloalkans der Formel II mit Phosgen und einem Alkalimetallsalz eines Mercaptans der Formel IV
kann das als Zwischerprodukt erhaltene Azabicycloalkan-2-carbonsaure
halogenid ohne weitere Reinigung mit dem Salz des Mercaptans umgesetzt werden.
Gemäss einem weiteren Verfahren der vorliegenden Erfindung
werden die neuen substituierten Azabicycloalkane der Formel I erhalten, indem man ein Azabicycloalkan der Formel II in Gegenwart
eines säurebindenden Mittels mit Kohlenstoffoxysulfid (COS) und anschliessend mit einem Chloralkylierungsmittel bezw. einem
Alkenylierungsmittel umsetzt. Als säurebindende Reagenzien kommen die oben aufgeführten in Betracht, vorzugsweise die Alkalimetallhydroxide.
Als Chloralkylierungsmittel sind in erster Linie Chloralkylhalogenide
geeignet.
Die erfindungsgemässen Umsetzungen eines substituierten
Azabicycloalkans der Formel II gemäss einem der genannten Verfahren zu Verbindungen der Formel I werden bei Temperaturen von
-20 bis + 1000C, vorzugsweise zwischen 0 und +300C durchgeführt.
Die Azabicycloalkane der Formel II sind zum Teil bekannte und zum Teil neue Verbindungen. Die neuen werden in an sich bekannter
Weise durch Hydrierung der entsprechenden Heteroaromaten bei
100 - 1800C und 100 - 200 AtU, in wässriger Emulsion und in Anwesenheit
von Edelmetall-Katalysatoren, beispielsweise von Ruthenium/ Kohle-Katalysatoren, hergestellt.
Die von der Formel II umfassten Ausgangsverbindungen liegen in 2 isomeren Formen vor und zwar in der eis- und der trans-Konfiguration.
Im Falledes2-Azabicyclol4.4.0]-decans (Decahydrochinolin) ,
wobei in der Formel II R- und R„ Wasserstoff bedeuten, sind die cis-

und trans-Isomeren leicht zu isolieren und führen zu 2 Reihen
von Verbindungen der Formel I mit eis- bzw. trans-Konfiguration.
Die neuen substituierten Azabicycloalkane der Formel I besitzen ausgezeichnete herbizide Eigenschaften und sind zum Teil als
allgemeine Herbizide und zum Teil zur Bekämpfung von Unkräutern und Ungräsern in Reiskulturen (Wasser- und Trockenreiskulturen)
geeignet. Von diesen Wirkstoffen werden in Reiskulturen schwer bekämpfbare Unkrautarten erfasst: zum Beispiel in Wasserreiskulturen
Echinochloa sp., Eleocharis sp., Monochoria, Sagittaria, Panicum sp., Cyperaceen, Rotala, Linderia, Vandellia, Paspalutn
sp. etc.; in Trockenreiskulturen ebenfalls Echinochloa sp., Digitart
sp., Brachiaria sp., Sida sp., Cypersaceen, Acanthosperum sp. etc.
Da die Wirkstoffe die unerwünschten Pflanzen allmählich abtöten und somit die Sauerstoffbilanz und das biologische Gleichgewicht nicht
krass beeinträchtigen, sind sie für die Anwendung in Wasserreiskulturen sehr gut geeignet. Ausserdem besitzen die Wirkstoffe ein
breites Wirkungsspektrum gegen verschiedenartige Wasserkräuter,
z.B. gegen emerse Pflanzen, Wasserpflanzen mit und ohne Schwimmblätter,
submerse Pflanzen, Algen etc.
Sowohl die eis- als auch die trans-Azabicycloallkane der
Formel I sowie Mischungen beider Formen sind herbizid wirksam.
Das breite Wirkungsspektrum der neuen substituierten
Azabicycloalkane der Formel I erlaubt es, sie auch zu der wichtigen Bekämpfung von Unkräutern und Ungräsern auf dem die
Reiskulturen umgebenden Gebiet, wie Gräben, Kanalbetten, Dämmen etc., einzusetzen. Von diesen Wirkstoffen werden nicht nur die
genannten, in Reiskulturen vorkommenden Ungräser, sondern auch andere grasartige und breitblättrige Unkräuter vernichtet. Die
Wirkstoffe können bei der Vorbereitung der Reisbetten und nach dem Auflaufen der Kulturpflanzen zur Vernichtung eines bereits aufgelaufenen
Unkrautbestandes verwendet werden. Sowohl der in Wasser als auch in Trockenkulturen angebaute Reis erleidet durch Applikation
der neuen substituierten Azabicycloalkane in den üblichen Aufwandmengen keine Schädigung, in hohen Aufwandmengen weitgehend

reversible Schäden. Die Aufwandmengen sind verschieden und vom Applikationszeitpunkt abhängig, sie liegen zwischen 0,5 und 6,
vorzugsweise 4 kg Wirkstoff pro Hektar, bei Applikation vor dem Auflaufen der Pflanzen. Aufwandmengen von 10-30 kg Wirkstoff pro
Hektar werden für eine totale Vernichtung des gesamten Unkrautbestandes, beispielsweise auf dem Kulturland benachbarter Brachland,
und zur Bestimmung der allgemeinen herbiziden Wirkung angewendet.
Die für den Reisanbau wichtige Fruchtfolge kann bei Anwendung der neuen Wirkstoffe ohne Beeinträchtigung erfolgen.
Ausserdem können Azabicycloalkane der Formel I auch als Wachstumregulatoren, beispielsweise zur Entblätterung, Verzögerung
der Blute etc. eingesetzt werden. Mit den neuen Verbindungen wird das vegetative Pflanzenwachstum und die Keimfähigkeit beeinflusst,
die BlUtenbildung, die Fruchtentwicklung und die Ausbildung von Trennungsgeweben gefördert. Die Ausbildung unerwünschter Geiztriebe
bei verschiedenen Pflanzenarten wird sehr stark vermindert. Die neuen Verbindungen wirken auch sekretionsfördernd, z.B. wird der
Latex-Fluss bei Hevea brasiliensis gefördert. Wie Versuche zeigten, wird die Bewurzelung von Setzlingen und Stecklingen sowie die
Knollenbildung bei Kartoffeln günstig beeinflusst. Die Keimfähigkeit
von Saatgut, wie z.B. Saatkartoffeln und Hülsenfrüchten,
wird bei niederen Konzentrationen gefördert, bei höheren verhindert. Sowohl der eine wie der andere Effekt ist von wirtschaftlicher
Bedeutung. Bei vielen Zier- und Kulturpflanzen ist eine Steuerung von Bluhtermin und Anzahl der Bluten möglich. Blühen alle Sträucher
gleichzeitig, so kann das Abernten der Sträucher innerhalb einer vergleichsweise kurzen Zeit erfolgen.
Versuche ergaben weiter, dass bei Obstbäumen eine Blüten-
und Fruchtausdünnung erfolgt. Weiterhin werden z.B. bei Aepfeln,
Birnen, Pfirsichen, Tomaten, Bananen und Ananas die Fruchtreifung
und Fruchtausfärbung beschleunigt und verbessert:. Durch die Ausbildung
von Trennungsgewebe wird die Frucht- und Blattabszliision
wesentlich erleichtert. Grosse wirtschaft: Ii 'ϊπ· Bodt-uttuivj, hat dies
für die mechanische Ernte, z.B. von Cltrusi t'UchL-n oder Baum-volle.

Substituierte Azabicycloalkane der Formel I sind bisher nicht beschrieben worden. In den amerikanischen Patentschriften
Nr. 3.344.134 und 3.198.786 werden zwar herbizide Azabicyclo-[3.2.2!-nonane
bzw. Polymethylenimino-thiocarbamate beschrieben,
ihre Wirkung auf Ungräsern ist jedoch bei guter Selektivität in Reis gering und zweikeimblätterige Unkäuter werden nicht
geschädigt. Die erfindungsgemässen Wirkstoffe der Formel I zeigen bei vergleichbarer Selektivität gegenüber Reis eine weit bessere
Wirksamkeit gegen Ungräser und weisen ein breites Wirkungsspektrum gegenüber zweikeimblattrigen Unkräutern auf. Einige sind
bei guter Verträglichkeit gegenüber Getreide, besonders Mais und Weizen, ferner Soja und Baumwolle selbst bei sehr niederen Aufwandmengen
gegen eine Vielzahl von grasartigen Unkräutern herbizid wirksam,gegen de die genannten Vergleichsverbindungen keine Wirkung
zeigen.

Die folgenden Beispiele veranschaulichen das Herstellungsverfahren
der Azabicycloalkan-Derivate der Formel I. Die Temperaturen
sind in Celsiusgraden angegeben.
Eine Lösung von 20g trans-Decahydrochinolin in 100 ml Benzol wird mit
einer Lösung von 5.8g Natriumhydroxid in 100 ml Wasser unterschichtet.
Dann wird unter kräftigem Rühren und Kühlen auf 5-10° 20g Chlorthioameisensäure-allylester in die Mischung eingetropft.
Nach beendeter Reaktion rührt man noch 3 Stunden, trennt die Phasen, wäscht die Benzolphase neutral, trocknet und verdampft das Benzol
im Vakuum. Das zurückbleibende OeI wird im Vakuum destilliert und man erhält 24 g (70% d. Theorie) l-CAllylthio-carbonyl)-transdecahydrochinolin
vom Sdp. 110-116%).2 Torr.
Eine Lösung von 13.9g cis-Decahydro-chinolin in 200 ml Diäthyläther
wird mit einer wässrigen Lösung von 4g Natriumhydroxid unterschichtet.
In dieses Gemisch wird dann unter kräftigem Rühren und Kuhlen auf 0-5° 9.8g Phosgen eingeleitet. Wenn die Mischung neutrale
Reaktion zeigt, trennt man die Aetherpahse ab und tropft sie zu einer Suspension von 13g Natrium-(3-Chlor-propyl)-mercaptid
in absol. Aether. Nach 24 stündigem Stehen saugt man vom entstandenen
Niederschlag ab, verdampft den Aether und destilliert das so erhaltene OeI im Vakuum. Man erhält 19g (68% d. Theorie) l-(3-n-Chlor-propylthio-carbonyl)-eis-decahydrochinolin
vom Sdp. 14O-142°/O.O1 Torr.
Zu einer Suspension von 13,9 g trans-Decahydro-chinolin in 200 ml

Wasser fugt man A.Og Natriumhydroxyd und leitet unter langsamem
Rühren bei 0-5° 8.0g Kohlenoxisulfid im Verlauf von einer Stunde
In die Mischung ein. Nach einer weiteren Viertelstunde fügt man 23g 1.3-Bromchlorpropan auf einmal zu und rührt 20 Std. bei 20°.
Das ausgefallene OeI wird in Aether aufgenommen, die Aethor-
lösung mit verd. Salzsäure ausgeschüttelt,mit Wasser gewaschen,
getrocknet und im Vakuum eingedampft. Das entstandene OeI wird
in Vakuum destilliert. Man erhält 10.6g (38% d. Theorie) 1-(3-n-Cblorpropylthio-carbonyl)-trans-decahydro-chinolin
als farbloses OeI vom Kp. 130-138°/0.01 Torr.
Nach den in diesen Beispielen beschriebenen Methoden werden unter
Verwendung der entsprechenden Mengen Azabicycloalkan und Thio kohlensäure- halogenid der Formel III bzw. Kohlenstoffoxisulfid und
Alk(en)ylierungsmittel die in der Tabelle I aufgeführten Verbindungen der Formel I hergestellt:

Die folgenden Versuche verdeutlichen den Einfluss auf das vegetative Speichersystem verschiedener Pflanzenarten:
a) Anwendung auf Graser
Eine Rasenmischung, bestehend aus Lolium perenne (20%), Poa pratensis (23%), Festuca ovin (10%) und Festuca rubra (47%),
wird 4 Monate lang in Saatschalen kultiviert und einmal wöchentlich geschnitten. Den frisch geschnittenen ca. 1,5cm hohen Rasen be
handelt man dann mit wässrigen oder wässrig-acetonischen Wirkstoff-
lösungavAnschliessend wird der Rasen bei 25° und 65% relativer
Luftfeuchtigkeit unter 15000 Lux gehalten. 4 Wochen nach Applikation der Wirkstoffe wird das Längenwachstum bonitiert.
In der folgenden Tabelle ist die durch den Wirkstoff bei verschiedenen Aufwandmengen hervorgerufene Verminderung gemäss
der folgenden Bonitierung angegeben.

b) Anwendung auf Getreidearten
Sommerweizen, Roggen und Hafer werden in Saatschalen kultiviert bei 25°, 65% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit und 15000
Lux. Wenn die Pflanzen das 2-Blatt-Stadium erreicht haben, wird die Saatschale mit einer Wirkstoffbrühe behandelt, so dass
die angegebene Applikationsmenge erreicht ist. 21 Tage nach Applikation wird das Längenwachstum nach dem unter a) angegebenen
Schlüssel bonitiert.

unter 15000 Lux gehalten. Nach 21 Tagen wird die Verminderung des Längenwachstums der Pflanzen durch Messung der Zwischenknotenabstände
(Internodien-Abstände) festgestellt.
In der folgenden Tabelle Ist die von den Wirkstoffen hervorgerufene Wachstumshemmung gemäss der genannten Bonitierung
angegeben.

Die Übrigen Substanzen wurden in gleicher Weise getestet und
zeigten ähnliche Wirkung.
Die Herstellung erfindungsgeraasser herbizider Mittel erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise durch inniges Vermischen und Vermählen
von Wirkstoffen der allgemeinen Formel I mit geeigneten Tragerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von gegenüber den Wirkstoffen
inerten Dispersions- oder Lösungsmitteln. Die Wirkstoffe können in den folgenden Aufarbeitungsformen vorliegen und angewendet werden:
feste Aufarbeitungsformen: Stä'uberuittel, Streumittel, Granulate,
Umhüllungsgranulate, Imprägnicrungsgranulate
und Homogengranulate;
in Wasser dispergierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate: Spritzpulver (wettable
powder), Pasten, Emulsj.onen;
flüssige Aufarbeitungsformen: Lösungen.
Zur Herstellung fester Aufarbeitungsformen (StSubemictel, Streumittel,
Granulate) v/erden die Wirkstoffe mit den festen Träger stoffen
vermischt. Als Trä'gerstoffe kommen zum Beispiel Kaolin, Talkum, Bolus,
Löss, Kreide, Kalkstein, Kalkgrits, Dolomit, Diatomeenerde, gefällte
Kieselsäure, Erdalkalisilikate, Natrium- und Kaliunialuminiumsilikate
(Feldsp'äte und Glimmer), Calcium- und Magnesiumsulfate, gemahlene
Kunststoffe, Düngemittel, wie Arcmoniumsulfat, Ainmoniuiriphodphate,
Ammoniumnitrat, Harnstoffe, gemahlene pflanzliche Bodukte, wie
Getreidemehl, Baumrindenmehl,Holzmehl, Nusschalenmehl, Cellulosepulver,
Rückstände von rflanzenextraktionen, Aktivkohle etc., je für
sich oder als Mischungen untereinander in Frage.

Die Korngrösse der Trägerstoffe betragt für Stäubemittel zweckmitösig
bis ca. 0,1 min, für Streumittel ca. 0,075 bis 0,2 mn und fur Granulate 0,2 mm oder mehr.
Die Wirkstoffkonzentrationen in den festen Aufarbeitungsformen
betragen 0,5 bis 80%.
Diesen Gemischen können ferner den Wirkstoff stabilisierende
Zusätze und/oder nichtionische, anionenaktive und kationenaktive Stoffe zugegeben werden, die beispielsweise die Haftfestigkeit der
Wirkstoffe auf Pflanzen und Pflanzentcilcn verbessern (Haft- und
Klebemittel )jnd/oder eine bessere Benetzbarkeit (Netzmittel) sowie
Dispergierbarkeit (Dispergatoren) gewährleisten. Als Klebemittel kommen beispielsweise die folgenden in Frage: Olein-Kalk-Mischung,
Cellulosederivate (Methylcellulose), Hydroxyäthylglykola'ther von
Mono- und Dialkylphenolcn mit 1 bis 15 Aethyleno::i.drestcn pro Molekül
mit 8-9 Kohlenstoffatomen im AlkylresL, Ligninsulfonsäurcn,
deren Alkali- und Erdalkailsalze, Polyäthylenglykoläther (Carbowaxe),
Fettalkoholpolyäthylcnglykoluther mit 5-20 Aetnylenoxid-resten pro
Molekül und 8-18 Kohlenstoffatomen im Fettalkoholteil, Konden-. sationsprodukte von Aethylenoxid, Propylenoxid, Polyvinylpyrrolidone,
Polyvinylalkohole, Kondensationsprodukte von Harnstoff-Formaldehyd
sowie Latex-Produkte.
In Wasser dispergierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate, d.h. Spritzpulver (wettable powder), Pasten und Emulsionskonzentrate stellen Mittel
dar, die mit Wasser auf jede gewünschte Konzentration verdünnt werden können. Sie bestehen aus Wirkstoff, Trägerstoff, gegebenenfalls den
Wirkstoff stabilisierenden Zusätzen, oberflächenaktiven Substanzen und Antischaummitteln und gegebenenfalls Lösungsmitteln. Die Wirkstoffkonzentration
in diesen Mitteln beträgt 5 - 80%.
Die Spritzpulver (wettable powder) und Pasten werden erhalten, indem man die Wirkstoffe mit Dispergiermitteln und pulverfürmigen
Trttgcrstoffen in geeigneten Vorrichtungen bis zur Homogenität vermischt
und vermahlt. Als Trägerstoffe kommen beispielsweise die vorstehend
für die festen Aufarbeitungsformen erwähnten in Frage. In manchen Fällen ist es vorteilhaft, Mischungen verschiedener Trägerstoffe
zu verwenden. Als Dispergatoren können beispielsweise verwcn-

det werden: Kondensationsprodukte von sulfonierten! Naphthalin und
sulfonierten Naphthalinderivaten mit Formaldehyd, Kondensationsproduktc
des Naphthalins bzw. der Naphthalinsulfonsäuren mit Phenol und Formaldehyd sowie Alkali-, Ammonium- und Erdalkalisalze von Ligninsulfons'dure,
weiter Alkylarylsulfonate, Alkali- und Erdalkalimetallsalze der Dibutylnaphthalinsulfons'äure, Fettalkoholsulfate, wie Salze
sulfatierter Hexadecanole, Heptadecanole, Octadecanole und Salze von
sulfatiertem Fettalkoholglykoläther, das Natriumsalz von Oleyl'dthionat das Natriumsalz von Oleylmethyltaurid; ditertiäre Acetylenglykole
Dialkyldilaurylammoniumchlorid und fettsaure Alkali- und Erdalkalisalze.
Als Antischaummittel kommen zum Beispiel Silicone in Frage.
Die Wirkstoffe werden mit den oben aufgeführten Zusätzen so
vermischt, vermählen, gesiebt und passiert, dass bei den Spritzpulvern
der feste Anteil eine Korngrüsse von 0,02 bis 0,04 mm und bei den Pasten vpn 0,03 mm nicht überschreitet. Zur Herstellung von
Emulsionskonzentraten und Pasten werden Dispergiermittel, wie sie .in den vorangehenden Abschnitten aufgeführt wurden, organische Lösungsmittel
und Wasser verwendet. Als Lösungsmittel kommen beispielsweise die folgenden in Frage: Alkohole, Benzol, Xylole, Toluol,
Ditnethylsulfoxyd und im Bereich von 12O-35O°C siedende Mincralölfraktionen.
Die Lösungsmittel müssen praktisch geruchlos, nicht phytotoxisch, den Wirkstoffen gegenüber inert und dürfen nicht leicht
brennbar sein.
Ferner können die erfindungsgem'dssen Mittel in Form von Lösungen
angewendet werden. Hierzu wird der Wirkstoff, bzw. werden mehrere Wirkstoffe der allgemeinen Formel I in geeigneten organischen Lösungsmitteln,
Lösungsmittelgemischen oder Wasser gelöst. Als organische Lösungsmittel können aliphatische und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe.
-deren chlorierte Derivate, Alky!naphthaline, Mineralöle allein oder
als Mischung untereinander verwendet werden. Die Lösungen sollen
die Wirkstoffe in einem Konzentrationsbereich von 1 bis 20% enthalten.
Den beschriebenen erfindungsgemässen Mitteln lassen sich andere
biozide Wirkstoffe oder Mittel beimischen. So können die neuen Mittel ausser den genannten Verbindungen der Formel I zum Beispiel
Insektizide, Fungizide, Bakterizide, Fungistatika, Bakteriostatika

oder Nematozide zur/erbreiterung des Wirkungsspektrums enthalten. Die erfindungsgemässen Mittel können ferner noch Pflanzendünger,
Spurenelemente usw. enthalten.
Im folgenden v/erden Aufarbeitungsformen der neuen substituierten
' Azabicycloalkane beschrieben. Teile bedeuten Gewichtsteile.
Granulat
Zur Herstellung eines 5%igen Granulates v/erden die folgenden
Stoffe verwendet:
5 Teile eines Wirkstoffes der Formel I
0,25 Teile Epichlorhydrin,
0,25 Teile Cetylpolyglykoläther,
3,50 Teile Polyäthylenglykoläther (Carbowax),
91 Teile Kaolin (Korngrösse 0,3 - 0,8 mm).
Die Aktivsubstanz wird mit Epichlorhydrin vermischt und in 6 Teilen Aceton gelöst, hierauf wird Polyäthylenglykoläther und
Cetylpolyglykoläther zugesetzt. Die so erhaltene Lösung wird auf Kaolin aufgesprüht und anschliessend im Vakuum verdampft. Aehnliche
Granulate werden auch erhalten, wenn anstelle des genannten Wirkstoffes z.B. l-(Aethylthio-carbonyl)-2-methyl-decahyd-:ochinolin
oder l-(Aethylthio-carbonyl)-octahydroindol verwendet werden.
Spritzpulver
Zur Herstellung eines a) 7 0%igen, b) 25%igen und c) l0%igen
Spritzpulvers werden folgende Bestandteile verwendet:

Der angegebene Wirkstoff wird auf die entsprechenden Träger-
stoffe (Kaolin und Kreide) aufgezogen und anschliessend vermischt
und vermählen-. Man erhält Spritzpulver von vorzüglicher Benetzbarkeit
und Schwebefähigkeit. Aus solchen Spritzpulvern können durch Verdünnen init Wasser Suspensionen jeder gev/ünschten Wirkstoffkonzentration
erhalten werden. Derartige Suspensionen werden zur Bekämpfung von Unkräutern und Ungräsern in Wasser- und Trockenreiskulturen vor und
nach dem Auflaufen der Kulturpflanze verwendet.

Zur Herstellung einer 45%igen Paste werden folgende Stoffe

2 Teile Spindelöl,
IO Teile Polyäthylenglykol,
23 Teile Wasser.
Der Wirkstoff wird mit den Zuschlagstoffen in dazu geeigneten
Geräten innig vermischt und vermählen. Man erhält eine Paste, aus der sich durch Verdünnen mit Wasser Suspensionen jeder gewünschten
Konzentration herstellen lassen. Die Suspensionen eignen sich zum Beispiel zur Behandlung von Wasserreiskulturen vor und nach dem Auflaufen
der Kulturpflanzen.
Wenn anstelle des genannten Wirkstoffes z.B. 1-(Aethylthiocarbonyl)
-2-methyl-octahydrochinolin oder 1-(Aethylthio-carbonyl)-octahydroindol
verwendet werden, erhält man ähnliche Pasten.
Zur Herstellung eines lO%igen Emulsionskonzentrates werden
10 Teile l-^llylthio-carbonyl)-trans-decahydrochinolin,
15 Teile Oleylpolyglykoläther mit 8 Mol Aethylenoxyd, 75 Teile Isophoron.
miteinander vermischt. Dieses Konzentrat kann mit Wasser zu Emulsionen
"auf geeignete Konzentrationen verdünnt werden. Solche Emulsionen '
werden zum Beispiel vor dem Auflaufen der Reispflanzen auf Trockenreiskulturen appliziert.
Wenn anstelle des genannten Wirkstoffes z.B. l-(Allylthiocarbonyl)-2-methyl-decahydrochinolin
oder l-(?.-Chloäthylthio-carbonyl)-octahydroindol
verwendet werden, erhält man ähnliche Emulsionskonzentrate.

Verfahren zur Herstellung von substituierten Azabicyclo- alkanen der Formel I des Anspruchs 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet dass man ein Azabicycloalkan der Formel II:(ID209831/1172entweder a) mit einem Thiokhlensäurehalogenid der Formel III:Hai - C - SR (III)Ilin derHai Chlor oder Brom bedeutet,oder b) mit den Bildungskomponenten des Thiokohlensäurehalogenids der Formel III, nämlich Phosgen und einem Alkalimetallsalz eines Mercaptans der Formel IV:R-SH (IV)wobei in den Formeln II, III und IV die Symbole R, R,, R2 und η die unter Formel I des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Bedeutungen haben,oder c) in Gegenwart eines säurebindenden Mittels mit Kohlenstoffoxysulfid und einem Chloralkylierungsmittel bzw. Alkenylierungs- mittel der Formel V:R-X . · (V)in derX Halogen, einen Alkoxysulfonyloxy- oder Arylsulfonyloxyrest bedeutet und R die unter Formel I des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Bedeutungenhat, umsetzt.209831/11727. Herbizides Mittel, dadurch©kennzeichnet, dass es als Wirkstoff ein substituiertes Azabicycloalkan gemäss Anspruch zusammen mit Trägerstoffen und/oder Verteilungsmitteln und gegebenenfalls anderen herbiziden und bioziden Wirkstoffen enthält.8.
