Die Herstellung der neuen Verbindungen der Formel (I) erfolgt durch Diazotieren eines Amins der
NH,
(H)
und Kuppeln der erhaltenen Diazoniumverbindung mit einem Amin der Formel
(IH)
Im allgemeinen kuppelt man in saurem, gegebenenfalls gepuffertem Medium unter Kühlen, beispielsweise
bei Temperaturen zwischen 0 und 5° C.
Die so erhaltenen neuen Farbstoffe sind ausgezeichnete Dispersionsfarbstoffe. Es ist besonders vorteilhaft,
sie von ihrer Verwendung in bekannter Weise in Farbstoffpräparate überzuführen. Dazu werden sie
zerkleinert, bis die Teilchengröße im Mittel etwa 0,01 hi-. 10 Mikron und insbesondere etwa 0,1 bis 5 Mikron
beträgt. Das Zerkleinern kann in Gegenwart von Dispergiermitteln oder Füllmitteln erfolgen. Beispielsweise
wird der getrocknete Farbstoff mit einem Dispergiermittel, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von Füllmitteln,
gemahlen oder in Pastenform mit einem Dispergiermittel geknetet und hierauf im Vakuum
oder durch Zerstäuben getrocknet. Mit den so erhaltenen Präparaten kann man, nach Zugabe von
mehr oder weniger Wasser, in sogenannter langer oder kurzer Flotte färben oder klotzen oder bedrucken.
Beim Färben in langer Flotte wendet man im allgemeinen bis zu etwa 20 g Farbstoff im Liter an, beim
Klotzen bis zu etwa 150 g im Liter, vorzugsweise 0,1
bis 100 g im Liter, und beim Drucken bis zu etwa 150 g
im Kilogramm Druckpaste. Das Flottenverhältnis kann innerhalb weiter Grenzen gewählt werden, z. B.
zwischen etwa 1 : 3 und 1 : 200, vorzugsweise zwischen 1:3 und 1 :80.
Die Farbstoffe ziehen aus wäßriger Suspension ausgezeichnet auf Formkörper aus vollsynthetischen oder
halbsynthetischen hochmolekularen Stoffen auf. Besonders geeignet sind sie zum Färben, Klotzen oder
Bedrucken von Fasern, Fäden oder Vliesen, Geweben oder Gewirken aus linearen, aromatischen Polyestern,
sowie aus Cellulose-2V2-acetat oder Cellulosetriacetat.
Auch synthetische Polyamide, Polyolefine, Acrylnitrilpolymerisationsprodukte
und Polyyinylverbindungen lassen sich mit ihnen färben. Besonders wertvolle Färbungen werden auf linearen, aromatischen
Polyestern erhalten. Diese sind im allgemeinen Polykondensationsprodukte aus Terephthalsäure und GIykolen,
besonders Äthylenglykol.
Man färbt nach an sich bekannten Verfahren. Polyesterfasern können in Gegenwart von Carriern bei
Temperaturen zwischen etwa 80 und 125° C oder in Abwesenheit von Carriern unter Druck bei etwa 100
bis 140° C nach dem Ausziehverfahren gefärbt werden. Ferner kann man sie mit den wäßrigen Dispersionen
der neuen Farbstoffe klotzen oder bedrucken und die erhaltene Imprägnierung bei etwa 140 bis 230°C fixieren,
z. B. mit Hilfe von Wasserdampf oder Luft. Im besonders günstigen Temperaturbereich zwischen 180
und 2200C diffundieren die Farbstoffe schnell in die
Polyesterfaser ein und sublimieren nicht wieder, auch wenn man diese hohen Temperaturen längere Zeit
einwirken läßt. Dadurch wird das lästige Verschmutzen der Färbeapparaturen vermieden.
Cellulose-2'/2-acetat färbt man vorzugsweise zwischen
ungefähr 65 und 80uC und Cellulosetriacetat bei
Temperaturen bis zu etwa 115° C. Der günstigste pH-Bereich liegt zwischen 2 und 9 und besonders
zwischen 4 und 8.
Meist gibt man die üblichen Dispergiermittel zu, die vorzugsweise anionisch oder aichtionogen sind und
auch im Gemisch miteinander verwendet werden können. Etwa 0,5 g Dispergiermittel je Liter Farbstoffzubereitung
sind oft genügend, doch können auch größere Mengen, z. B. bis zu etwa 3 g im Liter, angewandt
werden. 5 g übersteigende Mengen ergeben meist keinen weiteren Vorteil. Bekannte anionische
Dispergiermittel, die für das Verfahren in Betracht kommen, sind beispielsweise Kondensationsprodukte
aus Naphthalinsulfonsäuren und Formaldehyd, insbe-
sondere Dinaphthylmethandisulfonate, Ester von sulfonierter
Bernsteinsäure, Türkischrotöl und Alkalisalze von Schwefelsäureestern der Fettalkohole, z. B.
Natriumlaurylsulfat, Natriumcetylsulfat, Sulfitcelluloseablauge bzw. deren Alkalisalze, Seifen oder Alkali-
sulfate von Monoglyceriden von Fettsäuren. Beispiele
bekannter und besonders geeigneter nichtionogener Dispersiermittel sind Anlagerungsprodukte von etwa
3 bis 40 Mol Äthylenoxid an Alkylphenole, Fettalkohole oder Fettamine und deren neutrale Schwefelsäureester.
Beim Klotzen und Bedrucken wird man die üblichen Verdickungsmittel verwenden, z. B. modifizierte oder
nicht modifizierte natürliche Produkte, Kristallgummi, Johannisbrotkernmehl, Tragent, Carboxymethylcellulose,
Hydroxyäthylcellulose, Stärke oder synthetische Produkte, beispielsweise Polyacrylamide oder Polyvinylalkohol.
Die erhaltenen Färbungen sind außerordentlich echt, z. B. hervorragend thermofixier-, sublimier-,
plissier-, rauchgas-, überfärbe-, trockenreinigungs-, chlor- und naßecht, z. B. wasser-, wasch- und schweißecht.
Ätzbarkeit und Reserve von Wolle und Baumwolle sind gut. Hervorragend ist die Lichtechtheit,
selbst in hellen Tönen, so daß die neuen Farbstoffe auch als Mischungskomponenten für die Herstellung
pastellfarbener Modetöne sehr geeignet sind. Die Farbstoffe sind bei Temperaturen bis zu mindestens
220°C und besonders bei 80 bis 140° C verkoch- und reduktionsbeständig. Diese Beständigkeit wird weder
durch das Flottenverhältnis noch durch die Gegenwart von Färbebeschleunigern ungünstig beeinflußt.
Auf Grund ihrer ausgezeichneten Sublimierechtheit eignen sich die Farbstoffe hervorragend für Gewebe,
die im Verlauf ihrer weiteren Verarbeitung einem Permanentpreß-Verfahren unterzogen werden.
Die nächstvergleichbaren, aus der französischen Patentschrift 1 261 349 und der schweizerischen Patentschrift
367 254 bekannten Farbstoffe sind den erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffen in der Lichtechtheit bzw.
in der Sublimierechtheit unterlegen.
Die in den Beispielen genannten Teile sind Gewichtsteile und die Prozente Gewichtsprozente. Die Temperaturen
sind in Celsiusgraden angegeben.
Zu 120 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden
bei 60 bis 70° unter kräftigem Rühren langsarr 6,9 Teile Natriumnitrit gegeben. Man rührt noch
10 Minuten bei 60°, kühlt dann auf 10° ab und fügt 6;i bei dieser Temperatur 16,3 Teile 2-Amino-5-nitro
benzonitril zu. Nach 3 Stunden ist die Diazotierunj beendet. Man gießt die schwefelsaure Diazoniumsalz
lösung zu einem Gemisch aus 30,4 Teilen N-(2'-Acetyl
amino - 4' - methyl - sulfonyl - phenyl) - aminobenzole
200 Teilen Eisessig, 150Te'iten Eis und 10 Teilen
Aminosulfonsäure. Die Kupplung wird in saurem Medium durch Abstumpfen mit Natriumacetat auf
den pH-Wert 2,0 bis 2,5 zu Ende geführt. Der Färbstoff
bildet sich rasch und fällt aus. Er wird abfiltriert, säurefrei gewaschen, getrocknet und aus Dioxan umkristallisiert.
Der reine Farbstoff schmilzt bei 208 bis 209° und färbt synthetische Fasern in roten Tönen mit
ausgezeichneten Echtheiten.
B ei spi el 2
Zu 120 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden bei 60 bis 70° unter kräftigem Rühren 6,9 Teile gepulvertes
Natriumnitrit gegeben. Man nihrt noch 10 Minuten bei 60°, kühlt dann auf 10° ab und fügt bei 10 bis
20° 100 Teile Eisessig und danach 20,7 Teile 1-Amino-2,6-dichlor-4-nitrobenzol
und 100 Teile Eisessig zu. Man rührt 2 Stunden bei 10 bis 15" und gießt die erhaltene
Diazoniumlösung zu einem Gemisch aus 30,4 Teilen N-(2'-Acetylamino-4'-methylsulfonyl-phenyl)-aminobenzol,
200 Teilen Eisessig, 150 Teilen Eis und 10 Teilen Aminosulfonsäure. Die Kupplung wird
in saurem Medium durch Abstumpfen mit Natriumacetat auf den pH-Wert 2,0 bis 2,5 zu Ende geführt.
Der Farbstoff bildet sich sofort und fällt auj. Er wird
abfiltriert, säurefrei gewaschen, getrocknet und aus einer Mischung von gleichen Teilen Alkohol und
Aceton umkristallisiert. Der reine Farbstoff schmilzt bei 223 bis 224° und färbt synthetische Fasern in gelbbraunen
Tönen mit sehr guten Echtheiten.
In einem Gemisch aus 60 Teilen Wasser und 40 Teilen konzentrierter Salzsäure werden bei Raumtemperatur
17,2 Teile l-Amino-2-chlor-4-nitro-benzol 3 Stunden gerührt. Die erhaltene Suspension wird durch
Zugabe von 100 Teilen Eis abgekühlt und bei 0 bis 5° innerhalb 2 Stunden mit einer Lösung von 6,9 Teilen
Natriumnitrit in 100 Teilen Wasser diazotiert. Man rührt noch 15 Minuten, versetzt die erhaltene Lösung
mit 10 Teilen Aminosulfonsäure und filtriert sie. Zur klären Diazoniumsalzlösung gibt man eine Mischung
aus 30,4 Teilen N-(2'-Acetylamino-4'-methylsulfonylphenylj-aminobenzol
und 200 Teilen Eisessig. Die Kupplung wird in saurem Medium durch Abstumpfen mit Natriumacetat auf den pH-Wert 2,0 bis 2,5 zu
Ende geführt. Der Farbstoff bildet sich rasch und fällt aus. Er wird abfiltriert, säurefrei gewaschen, getrocknet
und aus einer Mischung von gleichen Teilen Äthanol und Aceton umkristallisiert. Der reine Farbstoff
schmilzt bei 202 bis 203° und färbt synthetische Fasern in scharlachroten Tönen mit sehr guten Echtheiten.

Zu 120 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden bei 60 bis 70° unter kräftigem Rühren langsam

10°. Die erhaltene Diazoniumsalzlösung gießt man zu einer Mischung aus 30,5 Teilen N-(2'-Acetyl-4'-aminosulfonyl-phenyl)-aminobenzol,
300 Teilen Eisessig und 150 Teilen Eis. Die Kupplungsreaktion wird in saurem
Medium durch Abstumpfen mit Natriumacetat auf den pH-Wert 2,0 bis 2,5 zu Ende geführt. Der Farbstoff
bildet sich rasch und fällt aus. Er wird abfiltriert, säurefrei gewaschen und getrocknet Umkristallisiert aus
Chlorbenzol schmilzt der reine Farbstoff bei 244 bis 248°. Er färbt synthetische Fasern in gelbbraunen
Tönen mit sehr guten Echtheiten.
B ei spiel 5
Zu 120 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden bei 60 bis 70° unter kräftigem Rühren langsam
6,9 Teile Natriumnitrit gegeben. Man rührt noch 10 Minuten bei 60°, kühlt dann auf 10° ab und fügt
bei dieser Temperatur 20,7 Teile l-Amino-2,6-dichlor-4-nitrobenzol
zu. Nach 3 Stunden ist die Diazotierung beendet. Man gießt die erhaltene Diazoniumsalzlösung
zu einem Gemisch aus 31,8 Teilen N-(2'- Propionylamino
- 4' - methylsulfonyl - phenyl) - aminobenzol, 300Teilen Eisessig, 150Teilen Eis und lOTeilen
Aminosulfonsäure. Die Kupplung wird in saurem Medium durch Abstumpfen mit Natriumacetat auf
den pH-Wert 2,0 bis 2,5 zu Ende geführt. Der Farbstoff bildet sich rasch und fällt aus. Er wird abfiltriert,
säurefrei gewaschen und getrocknet. Umkristallisiert aus einer Mischung aus gleichen Teilen Alkohol und
Dioxan schmilzt der reine Farbstoff bei 211 bis 214°.
Er färbt synthetische Fasern in gelbbraunen Tönen mit sehr guten Echtheiten.
Zu 120 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden bei 60 bis 70° unter kräftigem Rühren 6,9 Teile gepulvertes
Natriumnitrit gegeben. Man rührt noch 10 Minuten bei 60°, kühlt auf 10° ab und fügt dann 20,7 Teile
Amino-2,6-dichlor-4-nitro-benzol zu. Man rührt 2 Stunden bei 10° und gießt die erhaltene Diazoniumsalzlösung
zu einem Gemisch aus 26 Teilen N-(2'-Acetylamino-4'-chlor-phenyl)-aminobenzol, 300 Teilen Eisessig,
150 Teilen Eis und 10 Teilen Aminosulfonsäure. Die Kupplung wird in saurem Medium zu Ende geführt.
Der Farbstoff bildet sich rasch und fällt aus. Er wird abfiltriert, säurefrei gewaschen und getrocknet.
Der reine Farbstoff färbt synthetische Fasern in gelbbraunen Tönen mit ausgezeichneten Echtheiten.
Färbevorschrift 1
7 Teile des nach Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Farbstoffs werden mit 4 Teilen dinaphthylmethandisulfonsaurem
Natrium, 4 Teilen Natriumcetylsulfat und 5 Teiler Natriumsulfat in einer Kugelmühle 48 Stunden zn
einem feinen Pulver gemahlen. 2 Teile des so erhaltenen Färbepräparates werden in 3000 Teilen Wasser
welches 3 Teile einer 30%igen Lösungeines hochsulfo· nierten Ricinusöls und 20 Teile einer Emulsion eines
chlorierten Benzols enthält, dispergiert. Bei 20 bis 25"
bringt man 100 Teile Polyesterfasergewebe ein, erhit»
das Bad in etwa 30 Minuten auf 95 bis 100° und färb 1 Stunde bei 95 bis 100°. Das Färbegut wird aus derr
Bad genommen, gespült, 15 Minuten bei 70° mit einei
0,l%igen Lösung eines Alkylphenylpolyglykoläther! geseift, nochmals gespült und getrocknet. Man erhäl
eine rote Färbung mit ausgezeichneten Echtheiten
Färbevorschrift 2
30 Teile des nach Beispiel 2 erhaltenen Farbstoff: werden mit 40 Teilen dinaphthylmethandisulfonsau
rem Natrium, 50 Teilen Natriumcetylsulfat und 50Tei len wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat in einer Kugelmühli
48 Stunden zu einem feinen Pulver gemahlen.
Zu 4 Teilen des erhaltenen Färbepräparats in 1000 Teilen 40 bis 50° warmen Wassers gibt man
100 Teile gereinigtes. Polyesterfasermaterial und erwärmt langsam. Man färbt ungefähr 60 Minuten
unter Druck bei 130° und erhält nach dem Spülen, Seifen, Spülen und Trocknen eine gelbbraune Färbung
mit ausgezeichneten Echtheiten.
Färbevorschrift 3
Eine wäßrige, fein disperse Suspension aus 30 Teilen
des nach Beispiel 2 erhaltenen Farbstoffs, 70 Teilen dinaphthylmethandisulfonsaurem Natrium und 3 Teilen Natnumalginat wird mit Wasser auf 1000 Teile
gestellt und gut vermischt. Ein Polyestergewebe wird mit der erhaltenen Klotzflotte bei 20° foulardiert, mit
Luft von 60 bis 100° getrocknet und anschließend mit heißer, trockener Luft von 230° 60 Sekunden behandelt. Dann wird das Gewebe gespült, geseift, wieder
gespült und getrocknet. Man erhält eine gelbbraune, egale Färbung mit guten Echtheiten.
15 Teile des nach Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Farbstoffs
werden mit 20 Teilen dinaphthylmethandisulfonsaurem Natrium, 25 Teilen Natriumcetylsulfat und 25Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat in einer Kugelmühle
48 Stunden zu einem feinen Pulver gemahlen.
Zu 5 Teilen des erhaltenen Färbepräparats in 4000 Teilen Wasser gibt man 100 Teile gereinigtes
Cellulosetriacetatfasergewebe und erwärmt langsam auf 95 bis 100°. Das Färbegut wird aus dem Bad genommen, gespült, 15 Minuten bei 70° mit einer
0,l%igen Lösung eines Alkylphenolpolyglykoläthers geseift, nochmals gespült und getrocknet Man erhält
eine rote Färbung mit guten Echtheiten.
7 Teile des nach Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Farbstoffs werden mit 4 Teilen dinaphthyhnethandisulfonsaurem
Natrium, 4 Teilen Natriumcetylsulfat und 5 Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat in einer Kugelmühle
48 Stunden zu einem feinen Pulver gemahlen.
2 Teile des so erhaltenen Färbepräparats werden in
3000 Teilen Wasser, welches 3 Teile einer 30% igen Lösung eines hochsulfonierten Ricinusöls enthält,
dispergiert. Bei 20 bis 25° bringt man 100 Teile Cellu-
lose-272-acetatfasergewebe ein und erwärmt das Bad
in etwa 30 Minuten auf 80 bis 82°. Hierauf färbt man 1 Stunde bei 80 bis 82°. Das Färbegut wird aus dem
dann getrocknet. Man erhält eine rote Färbung mit
guten Echtheiten.
7 Teile des nach Beispiel 5 erhaltenen Farbstoffs
werden mit 13 Teilen Sulfitcelluloseablaugepulver und
100 Teilen Wasser in einer Kugelmühle gemahlen.
4 Teile des erhaltenen Färbepräparates werden mit
wenig Wasser angeteigt und durch ein Sieb einem
4 Teile N-Oleyl-N'-hydroxy-äthyl-N'-(3'-sulfo-2'-hydroxypropyl)-äthylendiamin in 4000 Teilen Wasser
enthaltendem Färbebad zugesetzt. Man gibt nun 100 Teile Polyamidfasermaterial bei 20° in das Bad,
erwärmt dieses innerhalb 30 Minuten auf 100° und färbt 1 Stunde bei 100°. Die erhaltene gelbbraune
Färbung wird gespült und getrocknet Sie ist egal und besitzt gute Echtheiten.

Claims (2)
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Azoverbindungen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man ein Amin der Formel
60 diazotiert und die erhaltene Diazoniumverbindung mit einer Verbindung der Formel
NH,

zu einer Verbindung der Formel

kuppelt, wobei in den Formeln (I), (II) und (III)
A Wasserstoff, Chlor, Brom, Cyan, Nitro, Methoxy, Methoxycarbonyl oder Methylsulfonyl,
B Nitro, Methylsulfonyl, Cyanmethylsulfonyl, Aminosulfonyl, Methylaminosulfonyl, Dimethylaminosulfonyl,
Äthylaminouilfonyl oder Diäthylaminosulfonyl,
D Wasserstoff oder Chlor,
E Wasserstoff, Chlor oder Brom,
F Wasserstoff, Chlor, Brom, Cyan, Methyl, Methoxy, Acetylamino, Chloracetylamino,
Propionylamino.Methoxycarbonylaminooder Äthoxycarbonylamino,
G Wasserstoff, Chlor, Brom, Methyl, Methoxy, Formylamino, Acetylamino, Propionylamino,
Butyrylamino, Valeroylamino, Chloracetylamino,
Chlorpropionylamino, Methoxycarbonylamino, Äthoxycarbonylamino, Chlormethoxycarbonylamino
oder Chloräthoxycarbonylamino,
Chlor, Brom, Cyan, Nitro. Acetyl, Acetoxy,
Methoxycarbonyl, Äthoxycarbonyl, Aminocarbonyl, Methylaminocarbonyl, Äthylaminocarbonyl,
Dimethylaminocarbonyl, Diäthylaminocarbonyl, Methoxycarbonyloxy, Athoxycarbonyloxy,
Propoxycarbonyloxy, Methoxypropylaminocarbonyl, Methylsulfonyl, Chlormethylsulfonyl, Athylsulfonyl, Phenylsulfonyl,
Aminosulfonyl, Methylaminosulfonyl, Dimethylaminosulfonyl, Äthylaminosulfonyl,
Diäthylaminosulfonyl oder MethoxypropylaminosuUOnyl und
K Wasserstoff, Methoxy oder Äthoxy bedeutet.

2. Verfahren zum Färben, Klotzen oder Bedrucken von Fasern, Fäden oder Vliesen, Geweben
oder Gewirken von voll- oder halbsynthetischen hochmolekularen Stoffen, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß gemäß dem Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 hergestellte Farbstoffe verwendet werden.
