Abstract
Description
上述のとおり、特許文献2の筆記具101は、インキカートリッジ106が交換される際に、残留するインキの漏れが防止されるという優れた効果を奏する。しかし、特許文献2のインキカートリッジ106は、特許文献1に開示されているような、接続管部53に突片53aが設けられた筆記具1に適用することができないという問題がある。すなわち、特許文献1の筆記具1は、突片53aが栓9の周辺部を押圧することによって、栓9が外される構成となっている。これに対し、特許文献2の筆記具101は、筆記具本体102の中央に設けられた突起部152によって、栓108が外される構成となっている。特許文献1の筆記具1に設けられた突片53aは、特許文献2のカートリッジ106の栓108を外すことができない。つまり、特許文献2のインキカートリッジ106は、特許文献1のような、栓を開放するための構成が異なる筆記具101に使用できない。
一方、特許文献2の筆記具本体102は、特許文献1に開示されているような、容器8の開口部内周面に円板状の栓9が嵌着されたインキカートリッジ7に適用することができないという問題もある。すなわち、特許文献2の筆記具本体102の中央に設けられた突起部152では、特許文献1のカートリッジ7の栓9を円滑に外すことが難しい。その理由として、円板状の栓9は、直径方向の軸を中心にして回転されることにより、容器8の開口部内周面から外れる。特許文献2の突起部152が栓9の中央を押したとしても、栓9を回転させることはできない。特に、特許文献1の栓9の中央には、栓9の表面と裏面とを区別するための円柱突起が形成される。この円柱突起が、特許文献2の突起部152に干渉してしまい、突起部152によって栓9を円滑に外すことは極めて困難となる。
第1に、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合する筆記具本体と、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合しない筆記具本体との両方に使用することが可能なインキカートリッジを提供すること、
第2に、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合するインキカートリッジと、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合しないインキカートリッジとの両方に使用することが可能な筆記具本体を提供すること、
第3に、上記のインキカートリッジ及び/又は筆記具本体を備えた筆記具を提供すること、を目的とする。
図1A及び図1Bに示されるように、本実施形態の筆記具1は、筆記具本体2と、インキカートリッジ3とを含む。インキカートリッジ3は、筆記具本体2の軸筒11内に収容される。軸筒11は、前軸11Aと後軸11Bとで構成される。前軸11Aと後軸11Bとは、ねじの螺合により着脱可能に結合される。軸筒11内に収容されたインキカートリッジ3は、前軸11Aから後軸11Bを取り外すことにより、交換することができる(図2Aを参照)。
図2Aに示されるように、本実施形態のインキカートリッジ3は、インキを収容する筒状の容器30と、容器30の開口部31を密閉する栓40、50とを含む。
容器30内には、図示しないインキが収容される。容器30の後方の内周面には、複数のリブ32が等間隔をおいて形成される。各リブ32は、容器30内におけるインキの流動を円滑にする。また、各リブ32の先端面は、開口部31の後方に位置する複数の段部32aを形成する。
図1A及び図2Aに示されるように、本実施形態の筆記具本体2は、軸筒11と、ペン先12と、インキ吸蔵体13と、キャップ14と、中間部材20とを含む。上述したように、本実施形態の軸筒11は、前軸11Aと後軸11Bとで構成される。ペン先12、インキ吸蔵体13及び中間部材20は、いずれも前軸11Aに設けられる。以下、前軸11A及び後軸11Bについて説明し、その後、ペン先12、インキ吸蔵体13及び中間部材20について説明する。
次に、インキカートリッジ3が筆記具本体2に取り付けられるまでの過程について、図2A、図2B及び図4A~図4Fを参照しつつ説明する。
次に、インキカートリッジ3が筆記具本体2から取り外されるまでの過程について、図5A~図5Fを参照しつつ説明する。
上述したように、本実施形態のインキカートリッジ3は、筆記具本体2の突起部22と協働して、インキ漏れ防止機構を有効に動作させる。さらに、本実施形態のインキカートリッジ3は、図6Aに示されるような、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合しない筆記具本体4にも使用することが可能である。
本実施形態のインキカートリッジ3は、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合する筆記具本体2(図1A)と、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合しない筆記具本体4(図6A)との両方に使用することが可能である。つまり、本実施形態のインキカートリッジ3は、栓を開放するための構成が異なる2種類の筆記具本体2、4に使用することが可能である。さらに、本実施形態のインキカートリッジ3は、インキ漏れ防止機構を備えた新製品の筆記具1(図1A)と、インキ漏れ防止機構を備えていない旧製品の筆記具100(図6A)との両方に適合する。したがって、製品提供者は、旧製品を新製品に切り替える際に、本実施形態の構成を備えた1種類のインキカートリッジ3のみを市場に提供すればよい。また、新製品及び旧製品の両方のユーザは、市場に提供される1種類のインキカートリッジ3を選択すればよい。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態に係るインキカートリッジについて、図7A~図7Dを参照しつつ説明する。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態に係る筆記具本体について、図8~図12を参照しつつ説明する。本実施形態の筆記具本体5は、図11及び図12に示される。筆記具本体5は、図8Aに示す中間部材20の構成に特徴がある。筆記具本体5は、中間部材20の特徴的な構成により、図11に示すインキ漏れ防止機構を備えたインキカートリッジ3と、図12に示すインキ漏れ防止機構を備えていないインキカートリッジ3との両方に適合する。
図8Aに示されるように、本実施形態の中間部材20は、二つの貫通孔21aが形成された隔壁を有する。この隔壁の後方の面の中央には突起部22が配置される。突起部22の先端には、小突起22Aが設けられる。小突起22Aは、図3A又は図7Aに示される第1栓40、70と嵌合するための雄型嵌合部を構成する。上述したように、第1栓40、70の栓本体41、71には、孔41a、71a及び環状凹部41b、71bが設けられる。孔41a、71a及び環状凹部41b、71bは、小突起22Aが嵌合される雌型嵌合部を構成する。本実施形態の突起部22及び小突起22Aの構成は、図3Cに示す第1実施形態の中間部材20の構成と同じである。
図8B、図9A及び図9Bに示されるように、第1微小突起22Bは、小突起22Aの中心からずれて一側に位置する。第1微小突起22Bは、小突起22Aから後方に向かって突出する。図11A及び図11Bに示されるように、第1微小突起22Bは、小突起22Aが孔41a、71a及び環状凹部41b、71bに嵌合されたときに、栓本体41、71に接触しない長さを有する(図9B示す高さH1を参照)。
図8B、図9A及び図9Bに示されるように、第2微小突起22Cは、小突起22Aの中心からずれて他側に位置する。第2微小突起22Cは、小突起22Aから後方に向かって突出する。第2微小突起22Cは、第1微小突起22Bよりも短い長さを有する(図9B示す高さH2を参照)。第1微小突起22Bと同様に、第2微小突起22Cも、小突起22Aが孔41a、71a及び環状凹部41b、71bに嵌合されたときに、栓本体41、71に接触しない。
上述した第2微小突起22Cは、第1微小突起22Bとの間に隙間22Dを形成する。図9Bに示されるように、隙間22Dは、小突起22Aの中心からずれて他側寄りに位置する。図10に示されるように、隙間22Dは、栓80の中央に設けられた円柱突起81に対応する。円柱突起81と隙間22Dとの寸法の具体例を、図10に示す。円柱突起81は、例えば、直径2.6mm、長さ2.3mmとする。これに対し、隙間22Dは、例えば、幅2.8mm、深さ2.9mmとする。
本実施形態の筆記具本体5は、図2A及び図7に示すインキ漏れ防止機構を備えたインキカートリッジ3に適合し、インキ漏れ防止機構を正常に動作させることが可能である。以下、図7Aの第1栓70を備えたインキカートリッジ3を例示して、本実施形態の筆記具本体5が、インキ漏れ防止機構を備えたインキカートリッジ3に適合することを説明する。なお、本実施形態の筆記具本体5は、図3Aの第1栓40を備えたインキカートリッジ3にも適合するが、詳細な説明は省略する。
本実施形態の筆記具本体5は、図12に示すインキ漏れ防止機構を備えていないインキカートリッジ3に適合し、中央に円柱突起81が設けられた円板状の栓80を、確実に開放させることが可能である。
上述したように、本実施形態の筆記具本体5は、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合するインキカートリッジ3(図11)と、インキ漏れ防止機構に適合しないインキカートリッジ3(図12)との両方に使用することが可能である。つまり、本実施形態の筆記具本体5は、インキ漏れ防止機構を備えたインキカートリッジ3の第1栓40、70と、インキ漏れ防止機構を備えていないインキカートリッジ3の栓80との両方を円滑に開放させることができる。したがって、旧製品を新製品に切り替えた直後、新旧2種類のインキカートリッジ3が市場に流通する場合でも、新製品の筆記具本体5には、新旧両方のインキカートリッジ3を使用することができる。
次に、本発明の第3実施形態に係る筆記具本体について、図13A及び図13Bを参照しつつ説明する。

- 前記第1微小突起の対向する二つの側面が、前記第1微小突起の先端側から前記雄型嵌合部に向かって傾斜する、請求項21に記載の筆記具。
- 前記第2微小突起の先端面が、垂直な状態の前記第2微小突起の水平方向の断面積よりも小さい面積を有する、請求項21又は22に記載の筆記具。
- 前記第2微小突起の対向する二つの側面が、前記第2微小突起の先端側から前記雄型嵌合部に向かって傾斜する、請求項23に記載の筆記具。
- 請求項19~24のいずれか1項に記載の前記筆記具本体に適合するインキカートリッジであって、
インキを収容する筒状の容器と、前記容器の開口部を密閉する円板状の栓とを含み、前記栓の中央に円柱突起が設けられ、前記円柱突起の長さは、前記第1微小突起と前記第2微小突起との間の前記隙間の深さよりも短く、かつ前記円柱突起の直径は、前記第1微小突起と前記第2微小突起との間の前記隙間の幅よりも短い、ことを特徴とするインキカートリッジ。
