Abstract
従来の多段オイルポンプでは、全て鉄系材料の為、重量が大きいという問題点があった。 多段オイルポンプ1は、ローター6,7が直列接続されている。ローターケース2は、第1ロータケース及び第2ロータケース41が軸方向に接続され、内部がスペーサー5で仕切られている。第1ロータケース41及び第2ロータケース42は、ダウエルピン8でスペーサー5に接合されている。ローター6,7は鉄系、スペーサー5はアルミ系の材料で形成されている。
Description
本発明は、特に自動車等に用いられる多段オイルポンプに関する。
従来より、複数のローターが直列接続された多段オイルポンプが提供されている(例えば、特許文献1)。当該図1に記載の如く、トロコイドポンプ(ローター)4,5は有底筒状のハウジング本体1に直接収納されている。
しかしながら、上記構造では全て鉄系材料の為、重量が大きいという問題点があった。
本発明は、上記課題を解決できる多段オイルポンプを提供することを目的とする。
このような課題を解決するために、本発明の多段オイルポンプは、複数のローターが直列接続された多段オイルポンプであって、軸方向に接続され、且つ内部にスペーサーで仕切られたローターケースに前記複数のローターが収容され、該ローターケースは軸方向に分割され、前記スペーサーは、ローターよりも比重が小さい材料であることを特徴とする。
また、本発明は、前記ローターは鉄系で、前記スペーサーはアルミ系であることを特徴とする。
また、本発明は、前記ローターケースは、ローターケースユニットの間に、スペーサーが介在されて、該スペーサーと各前記ローターケースユニットはダウエルピンにより接合され構成されたことを特徴とする。
また、本発明は、前記ローターは鉄系で、前記スペーサーはアルミ系であることを特徴とする。

本発明によれば、前記スペーサーは、ローターよりも比重が小さい材料であるので、軽量化することが出来る。
以下、図面を参照して、本発明の最良の形態を説明する。
多段オイルポンプ1は、図1~6に示すように、ハウジング2と、ハウジング2を塞ぐカバー3と、ハウジング2に収納されたロータケース4と、ロータケース4に収容されて互いが列接続された第1,第2ローター6,7とを備えている。
ハウジング2は、有底筒状を呈しており、ポンプ吐出ポート21と嵌合孔22とを備えている。カバー3には、嵌合孔31が形成されている。ロータケース4は、第1ロータケース41と第2ロータケース42とに軸方向に分割されており、第1ロータケース41と第2ロータケース42とがスペーサー5で仕切られている。
第1ロータケース41には第1ローター6が、第2ロータケース42には第2ローター7がそれぞれ収容されている。第1ロータケース41には、第1ロータケース41に対して軸心を偏心させた円形の第1ロータ収容孔411と、嵌合孔412とが形成されている。第2ローターケース42には、第2ローターケース42に対して軸心を偏心させた円形の第2ロータ収容孔421と、嵌合孔422とが形成されている。第1ロータケース41と第2ローターケース42とは、第1ロータ収容孔411と第2ロータ収容孔421とが軸心をオフセットさせて、ハウジング2内に配置される。

第1ロータケース41とカバー3との間には、サイドプレート9及びシール材12が第1ロータケース41側からこの順で配置される。サイドプレート9は、第1ロータケース41と同じ外径の円板に駆動軸11の挿通孔91、パージポート92、及び嵌合孔94を設けて構成されている。シール材12は、カバー3とサイドプレート9との間をシールする。
スペーサー5の一面から突出したダウエルピン8は、第2ローターケース42の嵌合孔422及びハウジング2の嵌合孔22に嵌合し、図7に示すように、第2ローターケース42及びハウジング2をスペーサー5に接合している。スペーサー5の他面から突出したダウエルピン8は、第1ローターケース41の嵌合孔412、サイドプレート9の嵌合孔94、及びカバー3の嵌合孔31に嵌合し、第1ローターケース41、サイドプレート9、及びカバー3をスペーサー5に接合している。

第1インナーローター62は、駆動軸11に固定されており、駆動軸11の軸心を第1ロータケース41の軸心と一致させて、第1アウターローター61内に配置されている。
第2ローター7は、第2アウターローター71の内側に第2インナーローター72を配置して構成されている。第2アウターローター71は、第1アウターローター61と同様の形状を有しており、第2ロータ収容孔421内に回転自在に配置されている。第2インナーローター72は、第1インナーローター62と同様の形状を有しており、駆動軸11の軸心を第2ローターケース42の軸心と一致させて、第2アウターローター71内に配置されている。
第2アウターローター71と第2インナーローター72との間には、オイル充填孔611の内周面と、第2インナーローター72の外周面と、ハウジング2とで仕切られた4つのオイル収容室が構成されている。
次に、多段オイルポンプ1の組立方法を説明する。
まず、駆動軸11をスペーサー5に挿通させてピンで位置決めし、インナーロータを駆動軸11に組み付け、インナーロータ62,72にアウターロータ61,71を嵌め合わせる。続いて、スペーサー5にダウエルピン8を取り付けて、スペーサー5の一面及び他面にロータケース41,42を組み付け、更に第2ロータケース42にサイドプレート9を組み付ける。このようにして仮組みをした後、ハウジング2内に収容し、カバー3をハウジング2内に取り付ける。

第1ローター6のオイル収容室には、図8に示すように、第1ロータ吸入ポート54からオイルが供給されている。駆動軸11が回転すると、第1アウターローター61が第1インナーローター62により駆動軸11の回転方向に回転させられ、オイル収容室も駆動軸11の回りを移動する。オイル収容室は、駆動軸11から遠ざかるのに伴い容積を増大させ、第1ロータ吸入ポート54からその分のオイルを吸入する。また、オイル収容室は、駆動軸11に近づくのに伴い容積を減少させ、その分のオイルをパージポート92と第1ロータ吐出ポート52から吐出する。
第2アウターローター71のオイル収容室には、第2ロータ吸入ポート53からオイルが供給されている。駆動軸11が回転すると、第2アウターローター71が第2インナーローター72により駆動軸11の回転方向に回転させられ、オイル収容室も駆動軸11の回りを移動する。オイル収容室は、駆動軸11から遠ざかるのに伴い容積を増大させ、第2ロータ吸入ポート53からその分のオイルを吸入する。また、オイル収容室は、駆動軸11に近づくのに伴い容積を減少させ、その分のオイルをオイル吐出ポート21から吐出する。
第1ローター6のオイル収容室が第1ロータ吐出ポート52から吐出させたオイルは、第2ローター7のオイル収容室に第2ロータ吸入ポート53から吸入される。第1ロータ収容孔411が第2ロータ収容孔421に対してオフセットされていることから、第1ローター6のオイル収容室が容積を増大させるのに伴い、第2ローター7のオイル収容室が容積を減少させる。このため、第1ロータ吐出ポート52から吐出されたオイルは、容積をを増大させる第2ローター7のオイル収容室により、そのまま第2ロータ吸入ポート53から吸入される。
本実施形態によれば、スペーサー5がローター6,7よりも比重が小さい材料であるので、軽量化することが出来る。
また、本実施形態によれば、ローター6,7が鉄系で、スペーサー5がアルミ系であることから、ロータ6,7とスペーサー5との間で焼き付きが生じるのを抑えられる。
上記実施形態では、スペーサー5がアルミ系である場合について説明したが、スペーサー5がマグネシウム系であってもよい。また、スペーサー5とローターケース41,42とのダウエルピン8での接合方法は任意であり、例えば、スペーサー5の外径をロータケース41,42の外径より小さくして、ロータケース41,42の内周部にはスペーサー5の外周部に嵌め合わされる段差を設け、ロータケース41,42の外側から両者の嵌合部にダウエルピン8等のピンを止めて、ロータケース41,42とスペーサー5との間での回り止めを行う構成としてもよい。
また、上記実施形態では、ロータケース4の側面のスペーサー5側から第1アウターローター61内のオイル収容室にオイルが供給された場合について説明したが、カバー3側から供給される構成としても良い。また、カバー3からハウジング2を通してオイルがオイル収容室内に供給される構成としてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 複数のローターが直列接続された多段オイルポンプであって、
軸方向に接続され、且つ内部にスペーサーで仕切られたローターケースに前記複数のローターが収容され、
該ローターケースは軸方向に分割され、
前記スペーサーは、ローターよりも比重が小さい材料であることを特徴とする多段オイルポンプ。 - 前記ローターは鉄系で、前記スペーサーはアルミ系であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の多段オイルポンプ。
- 前記ローターケースは、ローターケースユニットの間に、スペーサーが介在されて、該スペーサーと各前記ローターケースユニットはダウエルピンにより接合され構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の多段オイルポンプ。
