Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production efficace d'une structure multicouche de polymères à cristaux liquides qui contient des polymères à cristaux liquides alignés de manière uniforme, tout en présentant une excellente transparence. Ce procédé permet à la structure multicouche de polymères à cristaux liquides de couvrir une zone plus importante. L'invention concerne spécifiquement un procédé de production d'une structure multicouche de polymères à cristaux liquides qui comporte un substrat, une couche contenant un polymère à cristaux liquides et une couche contenant un polymère de revêtement qui n'est pas à cristaux liquides. Ce procédé de production d'une structure multicouche de polymères à cristaux liquides est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une étape de formation de la couche contenant un polymère à cristaux liquides sur la surface de substrat, une étape de formation de la couche contenant un polymère de revêtement qui n'est pas à cristaux liquides sur la couche contenant un polymère à cristaux liquides, et une étape de réalisation d'un traitement thermique à une température supérieure ou égale à la température de transition vitreuse ou au point de fusion du polymère de revêtement et inférieure ou égale au point de transparence du polymère à cristaux liquides. La couche contenant un polymère de revêtement qui n'est pas à cristaux liquides est de préférence formée en appliquant un liquide contenant un polymère de revêtement et un solvant qui ne dissout sensiblement pas le polymère à cristaux liquides, et en retirant ensuite le solvant.
