Abstract

L'invention concerne un siège et en particulier un siège pour véhicule automobile qui présente un appui (10) de siège qui comprend une pièce d'assise (12) et un dossier (14) qui peut être déplacé par rapport à cette pièce d'assise, l'appui de siège (10) étant disposé à déplacement sur une structure porteuse (16) du siège avec adaptation du contour de la surface de dossier (14RF) pour pouvoir le déplacer. Selon l'invention, on prévoit que la structure porteuse (16) comprenne un bâti de base (18). Le bâti de base (18) présente un bâti de base (18B) situé du côté du dossier et dans lequel un élément (770, 870, 970, 1070) à contour adaptatif est disposé et peut être libéré par un mécanisme de verrouillage et de déverrouillage (720, 750/ 880/ 920, 950 /1020, 1050) d'un dispositif d'ajustement (700, 800, 900, 1000), grâce à quoi l'élément à contour adaptatif prend automatiquement une position avant prédéterminée et en particulier une position à courbure maximale, suite à quoi, pour l'adaptation du contour aux parties du corps du passager tournées vers l'assise, un déplacement dans la position souhaitée peut être établi en appliquant une force de rappel orientée dans la direction opposée à la position avant et l'élément (770, 870, 970, 1070) à contour adaptatif peut être à nouveau verrouillé dans la position souhaitée et en particulier dans une position où il présente la courbure souhaitée.
