Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para aumentar el contenido de aceite, velocidad de crecimiento, biomasa, rendimiento y/o vigor de una planta. Los métodos se llevan a cabo regulando ascendentemente en la planta, un nivel de expresión de un polipéptido que comprende una secuencia aminoácida al menos 90 % homóloga a la secuencia aminoácida seleccionada del grupo formado por NRs ID DE SEC: 199, 166-198, 200-221, 229-307, 311-330, 351-353, 355-361, 363-364, 366-368, 218, 222-228, 308-310, 350, 354, 362, 365, 523-649, 786-920, 1047 y 1048. También se proveen polinucleótidos, constructos de ácido nucleico, polipéptidos y plantas transgénicas que expresan los mismos, que pueden utilizarse para incrementar el contenido de aceite, velocidad de crecimiento, biomasa, rendimiento y/o vigor de una planta y producir aceite.
