Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a organismos microbianos que no ocurren de manera natural que contienen rutas de 2,4-pentadienoato, butadieno, propileno, 1,3-butanodiol, alcohol crotílico o 3-buten-1-ol que comprenden por lo menos un ácido nucleico exógeno que codifica para una enzima de la ruta de butadieno expresada en una cantidad suficiente para producir 2,4-pentadierioato, butadieno, propileno, 1,3-butanodiol, alcohol crotílico o 3-buten-1-ol. La invención de manera adicional provee métodos para utilizar dichos organismos microbianos para producir 2,4-pentadienoato, butadieno, propileno, 1,3-butanodiol, alcohol crotílico o 3-buten-1-ol, cultivando un organismo microbiano que no ocurre de manera natural que contiene las rutas de 2,4-pentadienoato, butadieno, propileno, 1,3- butanodiol, alcohol crotílico o 3-buten-1-ol como se describe en la presente solicitud bajo condiciones y durante un periodo de tiempo suficiente para producir 2,4-pentadienoato, butadieno, propileno, 1,3-butanodiol, alcohol crotílico o 3-buten-1-ol.
