Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición curable la cual comprende un monómero polimerizable a base de carbonato representado por la siguiente fórmula, otros monómeros polimerizables y un producto fotocromático, pueden ser usado aún bajo condiciones de alta temperatura y alta humedad sin algunos problemas y proporciona un producto curado que tiene excelentes propiedades fotocromáticas. (ver Fórmula) en donde A y A' son cada uno un grupo alquileno lineal o ramificado que tiene 2 hasta 15 átomos de carbono, "a" es un valor promedio de 1 hasta 20, cuando existe una pluralidad de A's, A's pueden ser los mismos o diferentes, R1 es un átomo de hidrógeno o grupo metilo, y R2 es un grupo (met)acriloiloxi o grupo hidroxilo.
