Abstract
Prezenta invenţie se referă la metode pentru tratarea, reducerea severităţii sau inhibarea creşterii cancerului (de exemplu, tumorilor solide). Metodele prezentei invenţii cuprind administrarea unui subiect, care are nevoie de aceasta, a unei cantităţi terapeutic eficiente de un antagonist al morţii programate 1 (PD-1) (de exemplu, un anticorp anti-PD-1), opţional, în combinaţie cu radioterapie. În unele variante de realizare metodele cuprind administrarea radiaţiei hipo-fracţionate în combinaţie cu un anticorp anti-PD-1 sau un fragment al acestuia pentru a obţine un efect inhibitor prelungit de inhibare a tumorii.
