Abstract

본 발명은 광디스크 기록 매체 및 광디스크 구동장치에 관한 것으로서, 트랙킹의 어긋남에 의해서 재생 데이타의 에러율이 증가하게 되어 재생 데이타의 신뢰성이 저하하며, 어드레스의 산출이 복잡해진다는 문제점을 해소하기 위해, 랜드와 홈의 데이타 기록트랙을 갖고, 디스크의 1회전에 대응하는 길이를 갖는 각각의 데이타 기록트랙이 여러개의 트랙섹터를 갖고, 여러개의 트랙섹터(RS)의 각각은 섹터어드레스 데이타를 표시하는 프리포맷된 식별신호부(IDF)와 레이저빔의 사용에 의해 그곳에 적용되는 물리적 형상에서의 변화 또는 국소적 광학정수변화에 의해 데이타를 기록하는 데이타 기록부(DRF)를 갖고, 랜드와 홈의 데이타 기록트랙이 연속적인 데이타 기록나선을 형성하기 위해 서로 교대로 접속되고, 제1어드레스 데이타를 나타내는 식별신호부의 제1어드레스 데이타영역(FR)은 홈트랙의 중심으로부터 디스크의 반경방향의 한쪽으로 소정의 거리만큼 어긋나고, 제2어드레스 데이타를 나타내는 식별신호부의 제2어드레스 데이타영역(RR)은 홈트랙의 중심에서 디스크의 반경방향의 다른쪽으로 동일한 소정의 거리만큼 어긋나며, 상기 제1어드레스 데이타는 랜드트랙 섹터의 어드레스를 나타내고, 상기 제2어드레스 데이타는 랜드트랙 섹터에 인접하는 홈트랙 섹터의 어드레스를 나타내는 것으로 하였다.
이러한 구성에 의해서, 트랙킹 에러의 검출과 트랙킹 오프셋의 정정을 용이하고 정확하게 실행할 수 있으며, 또 서브 시스템에 의한 트랙킹 제어를 보다 용이하고 정확하게 실행할 수 있다는 효과가 얻어진다.

제1도는 본 발명의 제1실시예에 따른 광디스크상에서 데이타 기록섹터내의 식별신호 프리피트의 배열 및 그 데이타 기록섹터의 어드레스값을 모식적으로 도시한 도면.

Claims (4)

  1. 랜드와 홈의 데이타 기록트랙을 갖고, 디스크의 1회전에 대응하는 길이를 갖는 각각의 데이타 기록트랙이 여러개의 트랙섹터를 갖고, 여러개의 트랙섹터(RS)의 각각은 섹터어드레스 데이타를 표시하는 프리포맷된 식별신호부(IDF)와 레이저빔의 사용에 의해 그곳에 적용되는 물리적 형상에서의 변화 또는 국소적 광학정수변화에 의해 데이타를 기록하는 데이타 기록부(DRF)를 갖고, 랜드와 홈의 데이타 기록트랙이 연속적인 데이타 기록나선을 형성하기 위해 서로 교대로 접속되어 있는 광디스크로서, 제1어드레스 데이타를 나타내는 상기 식별신호부의 제1어드레스 데이타영역(FR)은 홈트랙의 중심으로부터 디스크의 반경방향의 한쪽으로 소정의 거리만큼 어긋나고, 제2어드레스 데이타를 나타내는 상기 식별신호부의 제2어드레스 데이타영역(RR)은 홈트랙의 중심에서 디스크의 반경방향의 다른쪽으로 동일한 소정의 거리만큼 어긋나며, 상기 제1어드레스 데이타는 랜드트랙 섹터의 어드레스를 나타내고, 상기 제2어드레스 데이타는 기 랜드트랙 섹터에 인접하는 홈트랙 섹터의 어드레스를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 광디스크.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 홈트랙섹터의 어드레스는 상기 식별신호부의 제1어드레스 데이타영역에 다중으로 기록되고, 상기 랜드섹터의 어드레스는 상기 식별신호부의 제2어드레스 데이타영역에 다중으로 기록되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광디스크.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 트랙섹터의 어드레스는 랜드와 홈트랙 사이의 구별없이 상기 연속적인 데이타 기록나선을 따라 상기 트랙섹터의 배열순으로 단조롭게 증가 또는 감소하도록 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광디스크.
  4. 특허청구의 범위 제1항에 따른 광디스크를 구동하는 광디스크 구동장치로서, 상기 광디스크상에서 트랙섹터의 식별신호부의 제1어드레스 데이타영역내의 어드레스기록과 제2어드레스 데이타영역내의 어드레스기록 사이의 선택에 의해 트랙섹터의 어드레스를 추출하는 어드레스 추출회로(1)과 랜드와 홈트랙 사이의 구별없이, 트랙섹터의 물리 어드레스로서 추출된 어드레스의 값을 사용하는 어드레스 재생회로(114)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광디스크 구동장치.
