Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the fitting strength to an engine by providing a sliding section on an alternator proper and slidably fitting a tensioner adjusting the tension of a belt to the said sliding section. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 12 is rotatably fitted to the central axis 11 of an alternator proper 10, and a belt 13 is suspended across the pulley 12. A tensioner sliding section 14 is provided in one body with the alternator proper 10. When a bolt 14d is rotated, a sliding piece 17 is moved in the up-and-down direction, and a tensioner pulley 15 is also moved in the up-and-down direction through a rotary shaft 16. Thereby the tension of the belt 13 is adjusted. Accordingly, the fitting strength to an engine can be improved and the degree of freedom of the fitting position can be improved.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, in an automobile alternator, the 8AI of the alternator main body 1 is mounted such that the part 1a is rotatably supported via the fulcrum 3 relative to the engine main body 2. By rotating the alternator main body 1 in the direction of arrow A-A' with respect to the engine main body 2 about the fulcrum 3, a suitable belt 5 is applied to the pulley 4 provided on the alternator main body 1. After applying tension, the second installation of the alternator body l connects the part 1b to the engine body 2.
It has a structure in which it is fixed via bolts 7 to a bracket 6 fixed to the.

As mentioned above, in the conventional alternator, the alternator itself is movable and used as a belt tensioner, but one side of the alternator body 1 (the second attachment is part Ib) is attached to the engine body 2 with a bracket. Since it is fixed with only 6, the installation strength is weak, and when the belt is driven, the alternator itself is pulled by the belt 5 and vibrates. Also, since the alternator itself is moved as a tensioner, there is a shaded area B around it. As shown, a considerable amount of space is required, and the installation location is also subject to considerable restrictions. In addition, as the speed of alternators increases in recent years, the diameter of the pulley 4 provided on the alternator has to be reduced. As a result, the angle at which the belt 5 engages is insufficient, which increases the width and initial tension of the belt 5. This has led to various problems such as the overall length of the engine becoming longer and the load placed on the bearings of the walk bonnet driven by the same belt becoming too large.

As explained above, according to the alternator according to the present invention, a tensioner that can adjust the tension of the belt hooked on a pulley provided in the alternator main body is provided separately from the alternator main body, and the tensioner is provided in the alternator main body. The tension of the belt can be adjusted by sliding the alternator on the sliding part, so compared to the conventional structure in which the tension of the belt is adjusted by moving the alternator itself, the engine The attachment to the main body can increase the strength, reduce the movement of the alternator during belt drive, and increase the degree of freedom in positioning the alternator. Also, by installing a tensioner, the angle at which the belt hangs on the pulley can be greatly increased. 77 tension can be reduced, which can shorten the overall length of the engine and reduce the load on bearings such as waterbogs, which can make bearings smaller and have longer lifespans, making them compact and durable. It has various excellent effects such as being able to provide a structure that is flexible.
