Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain particles of fine grain sizes in a short time at ordinary temp. by stirring mixed solutions of a platinum group complex soln. and a reducing agent soln. by ultrasonic waves.
CONSTITUTION: A reducing agent soln. is added to a platinum group complex soln. and these are mixed. The mixed solutions are next stirred by using ultrasonic waves. Since crystal seeds are produced uniformly and in a large number in a reaction system, the particles after the completion of reaction uniformly disperse and those of fine grain sizes are obtained. For example, sodium formate or hydrazine formaldehyde is used for the reducing agent.
