Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify structure to make the operation speed high by using plural- system charge transfer elements and by providing charge receiving and transmitting means between respective charge transfer elements.
CONSTITUTION: Two-system charge transfer elements CTD are used and are so arranged that transfer directions of them may be opposite to each other. The last bit D5 of the first CTD1 is connected directly to the first bit δ1 of the second CTD2, and charge from the former to the latter is transferred completely. Besides this connection, other four bits D1∼D4 of the first CTD1 are transferred to respective bits δ2∼δ5 of the second CTD2 partially. Assuming that the rate of charge in the first CTD1 transferred to the second CTD2 is a∼d, the charge quantity transferred from the fitst CTD1 to the second CTD2 is (1-a)∼(1-d) times as large as the charge quantity before distribution. Consequently, a filter of a desired frequency characteristic can be formed by calculating a∼d.
