Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 り束上■且■立夏 本発明は、自動車における電装品の接続に用いられるワ
イヤーハーネス等に介在されるコネクタのロック装置に
関するものである。
従ｍえ丘 相互に嵌合して結合される一対の雌、雄のコネクタにあ
っては、内蔵する一対の端子金具が相接触した状態で係
合するロック腕と保合突起から成るロック装置を有し、
ロック腕が保合突起に係合する際の操作感触により嵌合
の確認を得るようにしていた。
しかし、操作感触は経年変化や使用雰囲気による特性の
変化によって変化し易く、また操作感触そのものは嵌合
の確認手段としては確実性に欠けるので、近時において
は第６図（イ）に示される如きロック装置が開発されて
いる（特開昭６２−１０８８５）。
即ち、相互に嵌合される雌、ａのコネクタａ。
ｂにおいて、雌コネクタａの上壁Ｃの後端にはロック片
ｄがヒンジ部ｅを介して回動自在に設けられ、該ロック
片ｄを上壁Ｃ上に重合して図示しない手段により係止し
た際にロック片ｄの係止突起ｆが上壁Ｃの孔ｇより端子
収容室り内に進入する。
雄コネクタｂの上面には係止用凹部ｉが形成されており
、雌、雄のコネクタａ、ｂを完全に嵌合した際において
ロック片ｄの係止突起ｆが係止用凹部Ｉに係入するので
、コネクタａ、ｂのロックと共に嵌合の確認を得ること
ができる（第６図口）。
雌、雄のコネクタａ、ｂの嵌合が不完全な場合には、係
止突起ｆが係止用凹部ｉに係入不可能であってロック片
ｄを閉じることが出来ないので、嵌合が未完であること
を明確に知ることができる（第６図へ）。
１Ｎ＜　　ンしよ゛と　る量 上記従来技術にあっても、作業者、がロック片を正規の
位置まで動作させる必要があり、忘れ等により不完全嵌
合状態で作業を終了するおそれがある。
本発明は上記した点に着目して為されたものであり、コ
ネクタの完全な嵌合乃至はそのロック状態を電気回路を
通じて一目瞭然に確認し得るようにしたものである。
！　　　”るための 上記の目的を達成するため、本発明においては、相互に
嵌合される一対のコネクタにおいて、一方のコネクタに
ロック位置と非ロック位置へ移動自在なロック板と該ロ
ック板をロック位置に保持する保持部を設け、他方のコ
ネクタに該一方のコネクタとの嵌合完了時において該ロ
ック板とのロックが可能なロック部を設け、該ロック板
に設けた短絡片がロック時においてコネクタの嵌合確認
手段の電気回路における短絡用端子に当接して該回路を
短絡する構成を採用した。
２施■ 第１図乃至第５図において、Ａは雌コネクタ、Ｂは雄コ
ネクタであり、雌コネクタＡはピン状雄端子Ｃ，ａコネ
クタＢは雌端子りを内蔵している。
雌コネクタＡはプリント配線板坏土にボルト１により固
定され、ピン状雄端子Ｃの外端はプリント回路２にハン
ダ付け３されている。
雌コネクタＡは、１２極の雌コネクタ部Ａ、と６極の雌
コネクタ部Ａ２を有し、画題コネクタ部Ａ、、Ａ、に共
通のロック機構４を有している。
ロック機構４は金属から成る弾性支持アーム５に固定さ
れたロック板６とロック板６をロック位置に保持する保
持部７を有している。ロック板６の内面には、雌コネク
タ部Ａｔ　　、Ａｔにそれぞれ嵌合される相手方雄コネ
クタに対する保合突起６ａ。
６ａが設けられ、また弾性金属から成る短絡片８が設け
られている。雌コネクタ部Ａ、には、支持板部９上にお
いて、該短絡片８に対向して一対の短絡用端子１０，１
０が配置されており、ロック板６のロック位置において
該短絡片８は一対の短絡用端子１０，１０に接触して導
通させる。短絡用端子１０，１０の端部もプリント回路
２′にハンダ付けされており、該回路２′は短絡時にお
いてコネクタの嵌合確認用回路における確認用ランプを
点灯させる。
保持部７は鉤状であって、テーパー状保合案内面７ａを
有し、相手方コネクタを嵌合しない状態においては、弾
性支持アーム５の係合端５ａは該テーパー状保合案内面
７ａに圧接するように附勢されている。
第１図においては、雌コネクタ部Ａ１に嵌合される多極
の雄コネクタＢのみが示されていて、雌コネクタ部Ａ２
に嵌合される雄コネクタが省略されている。
雄コネクタＢの上面において、溝１１内には周知の如く
に前端に立上り基部１２ａを有する片持ちの可撓ロック
片１２が設けられ、雄コネクタＢを雌コネクタ部Ａ、に
嵌合した際にその係止突起１２ｂが雌コネクタ部Ａ、の
係止部１３に係合して雌、雄コネクタＡ、Ｂの結合をロ
ックする。
雄コネクタＢの上面には更に、ロック部１４が突設され
、雄コネクタＢの雌コネクタＡに対する嵌合時において
、該ロック部１４の前端Ｌ４ａが第３図の状態における
ロック板６の保合突起６ａにおけるテーパー状案内面６
ａ、に衝合してロック板６を上昇させつつ雌コネクタＡ
内に進入する（第４図）。
雄コネクタＢを雌コネクタＡ内に充分に嵌合した状態に
おいて、ロック機構４における弾性支持アーム５の係合
端５ａを押し下げて保合突起６ａをロック部１４の後端
の段部１４ｂに係合させっつ保持部７に係止することに
よりロックを完了する。ロック完了時において、短絡片
８が一対の短絡用端子１０，１０に接触してランプ等の
コネクタ嵌合確認手段の電気回路を短絡して作動させる
。
雄コネクタＢを雌コネクタから離脱するには、治具を用
いて弾性支持アーム５の係合端５ａを係止突起７から外
して引き抜く。
発尻■Ｚ来 本発明は上記した如（に、相互に嵌合される一対のコネ
クタにおいて、一方のコネクタにロック位置と非ロック
位置へ移動自在なロック板と該ロック板をロック位置に
保持する保持部を設け、他方のコネクタに該一方のコネ
クタとの嵌合完了時において該ロック板とのロックが可
能なロック部を設け、該ロック板に設けた短絡片がロッ
ク時においてコネクタの嵌合確認手段の電気回路におけ
る短絡用端子に当接して該回路を短絡するようにして成
るものであるから、一対のコネクタの嵌合時におけるロ
ック機構の手動操作により短絡片がコネクタの嵌合確認
手段の電気回路を短絡して作動させるので、ロック操作
の完了によるコネクタの嵌合の確認を確実に得ることが
できる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 　相互に嵌合される一対のコネクタにおいて、一方のコ
    ネクタにロック位置と非ロック位置へ移動自在なロック
    板と該ロック板をロック位置に保持する保持部を設け、
    他方のコネクタに該一方のコネクタとの嵌合完了時にお
    いて該ロック板とのロックが可能なロック部を設け、該
    ロック板に設けた短絡片がロック時においてコネクタの
    嵌合確認手段の電気回路における短絡用端子に当接して
    該回路を短絡することを特徴とするコネクタのロック装
    置。
