CONSTITUTION:When an automatic lever 1 of an automatic transmission is turned about a fulcrum 2 toward a drive position 3 from a parking position 13 or a neutral position 14, a tension force is effected in the releasing direction of a locking pin 6 through the intermediary of a wire 4, a spring 7 and a clamp 8, but is absorbed by resilient deformation of the spring 7 so that the locking pin 6 is not released. Further, when the lock release lever 9 is pulled, a side brake is released, and thereafter, the locking pin 6 is shifted away from its locking position by the spring 7 so that the locking is not effected even though a side brake pedal 10 is depressed, thereby serving as a foot brake. When the lever 1 is returned to the neutral position 14, the spring 7 is recovered so that the locking pin 6 is moved to a lockable position with respect to a stationary member 11, and is secured when the pedal 10 is depressed. い為にハンドルを切っても自動車は其の方向に進まず非
常に危険である、出願者は昭和62年12月6日17時
頃59年××××××××車でこの其による事故の発生
を経験したのである、ロックされなければ、あるひは回
避できたのではないかと思はれる。
