Description
方法が採られる。
その試作ドリルは、芯厚、溝幅比、フルート部切れ刃の形状(表1には切れ刃形状と表示)、フルート部切れ刃の上述した仮想直線からの凹み量、シンニング部切れ刃の長さBとフルート部切れ刃の長さAの比(表1には長さ比と表示)を表1の通りに設定して各試料の性能を評価した。
加工条件:外周の切削速度Vc=80m/min、送りf=0.03mm、加工孔深さH=20mm、内部給油湿式加工
この試験の結果を表2にまとめる。

Claims (4)
- 先端にクロスシンニングが施された直径φ3mm以下の小径ドリルであって、正面視において、フルート部切れ刃(4a)の径方向外端(P)とシンニング部切れ刃(4b)の径方向外端(Q)とを結ぶ仮想直線(SL)に対してフルート部切れ刃(4a)が回転方向に対して凹形に彎曲しており、そのフルート部切れ刃(4a)の前記仮想直線(SL)からの凹み量(d)がドリル径(D)の0.5%〜2%の範囲に設定され、さらに、シンニング部切れ刃(4b)の長さBとフルート部切れ刃(4a)の長さAの比B:Aが0.6〜0.9:1に設定され、なおかつ、フルート(6)のヒール側溝面の曲率半径R1がフルート部切れ刃側溝面の曲率半径R2よりも小に設定された小径ドリル。
- 前記フルート部切れ刃(4a)の径方向外端のラジアルレーキγが−5°〜−15°に設定された請求項1に記載の小径ドリル。
- 芯厚が、0.30D〜0.37Dに、溝幅比θ1:θ2が0.70〜0.90:1にそれぞれ設定された請求項1又は2に記載の小径ドリル。
- 前記切れ刃(4)に、R半径0.005mm〜0.015mmの丸ホーニングの強化処理が施された請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の小径ドリル。
