Claims (6)
- モータの回転運動を出力軸であるスクリューの直線運動に変換するリニアアクチュエータであって、
前記モータの中空のロータの内周に沿って複数のボールを保持するリテーナを前記スクリューの軸方向に複数設け、
前記スクリューの外周にボールネジを形成し、
前記ボールネジに対応する位置に等間隔に複数の貫通孔を前記リテーナの周上にらせん状に配設して、前記複数のボールを前記複数の貫通孔にそれぞれ保持し、
前記複数のリテーナのそれぞれが保持する前記複数のボールは5個以上の奇数個であり、
前記ボールを前記ボールネジに噛み合わせて、前記スクリューを前記ロータと同軸に配し、前記ロータの回転運動に伴う該ロータの内周面に沿った前記ボールの回転により、前記ボールネジを有する前記スクリューを直線運動させることを特徴とするリニアアクチュエータ。 - 前記リテーナは前記スクリューの軸方向に2個設け、各リテーナは1列の配置で前記ボールを保持していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリニアアクチュエータ。
- 前記ロータの回転方向に、前記スクリューが回転しないように止める回転止め部材が、前記スクリューの直線運動の前進端および後進端を規定するストッパ部を兼ねることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のリニアアクチュエータ。
- 前記回転止め部材が、前記スクリューが貫通する、該スクリューの軸方向とほぼ垂直な断面形状が多角形のブロックであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のリニアアクチュエータ。
- 前記回転止め部材が、前記スクリューに対して該スクリューの軸方向とほぼ垂直な方向に挿入されたピンであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のリニアアクチュエータ。
- 前記リテーナがリング形状であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のうちのいずれか1項に記載のリニアアクチュエータ。
