Description
また、相対角度算出部により算出された現在の相対角度と、目標角度との偏差が、所定の範囲内にある状態が所定時間以上継続する場合には、加速運転モードを定常運転モードに切り換える。
(1)上述の実施形態では、目標角度と従動側回転体11の相対角度との変位が所定の閾値以下となる状態が所定時間以上継続した際に、制御モードを通常運転モードに移行させることにより昇圧機構100を停止させたが、この条件判断を昇圧機構制御部86に行わせ、昇圧機構制御部86が昇圧機構100を停止させる構成としても構わない。この場合には、制御モード決定部81には偏差算出部84からの出力を入力する必要はない。

Claims (6)
- 内燃機関のクランクシャフトに対して同期回転する駆動側回転体と、
前記駆動側回転体に対して同軸上に配置され、前記内燃機関の弁開閉用のカムシャフトに同期回転する従動側回転体と、
前記駆動側回転体と前記従動側回転体とで形成され、前記駆動側回転体及び前記従動側回転体の少なくとも一方に設けられた仕切部によって遅角室と進角室とに仕切られた流体圧室と、
前記駆動側回転体に対する従動側回転体の相対位相である相対角度を検出する角度検出部と、
作動流体の供給を行うポンプから前記流体圧室への前記作動流体の供給および前記流体圧室からの作動流体の排出を制御する流体制御機構と、
アクセルに対する操作量であるアクセル操作量を検出するアクセル操作量検出機構と、を備え、
前記アクセル操作量に基づいて前記流体制御機構に対する制御モードを定常運転モードと加速運転モードとの一方に設定するとともに、前記相対角度が、当該制御モードにおいて前記アクセル操作量に応じて決定される前記相対角度の目標値である目標角度となるように前記流体制御機構を制御する制御部を備え、
前記制御部は、前記従動側回転体の現在の相対角度を算出する相対角度算出部と、前記相対角度算出部により算出された現在の相対角度と前記目標角度との偏差を算出する偏差算出部とを備え、前記制御部は、前記制御モードが前記加速運転モードであり、且つ、前記偏差が所定の範囲内にある状態が所定時間以上継続する場合に、前記加速運転モードを前記定常運転モードに切り換える弁開閉時期制御装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記定常運転モードと前記加速運転モードとに対応する前記アクセル操作量と前記目標角度との関係を設定したマップである定常モードマップと加速モードマップとを備え、前記設定した制御モードに応じて使用する前記マップを決定し、当該決定されたマップを用いて前記目標角度を決定する請求項1記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記アクセル操作量の時間微分値を演算し、当該微分値が所定の値を超えた場合に前記制御モードを前記加速運転モードに設定する請求項1または2に記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
- 前記作動流体を昇圧し、前記流体圧室に供給可能な昇圧機構を、前記ポンプから前記流体圧室へ連通する流路に対して並列に配置してある請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記目標角度と実際の前記相対角度との差に応じて前記昇圧機構の動作量をPID制御する請求項4に記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記目標角度と実際の前記相対角度との偏差を求め、当該偏差が所定の範囲内の状態が所定時間以上継続した際に、前記昇圧機構を停止するよう制御する請求項4又は5に記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
