Description
図1及び2を参照すると、本実施例の電界放出装置200は、絶縁基板202と、該絶縁基板202に設置した複数の電子放出ユニット220と、複数の行引出し電極204と、複数の列引出し電極206と、を含む。前記複数の行引出し電極204は、それぞれ所定の距離で離れるように、平行して配列されている。前記複数の列引出し電極206は、それぞれ所定の距離で離れるように、平行して配列されている。前記複数の行引出し電極204と、前記複数の列引出し電極206とは、交叉して、複数の格子214が形成されている。隣接する二本の前記行引出し電極204と、隣接する二本の前記列引出し電極206とは、一つの前記格子214に形成されている。各々の前記格子の中に、一つの前記電子放出ユニット220を設置する。短路することを防止するために、前記複数の行引出し電極204と、前記複数の列引出し電極206と交叉した領域に、それぞれ一つの絶縁層216を設置する。本実施例において、前記行引出し電極204の長手方向は、X方向と定義され、前記列引出し電極206の長手方向は、Y方向と定義されている。
図5〜7を参照すると、本実施例の電界放出装置300は、絶縁基板302と、該絶縁基板302に設置した複数の電子放出ユニット320と、複数の行引出し電極304と、複数の列引出し電極306と、を含む。前記複数の行引出し電極304は、それぞれ所定の距離で離れるように、平行して配列されている。前記複数の列引出し電極306は、それぞれ所定の距離で離れるように、平行して配列されている。前記複数の行引出し電極304と、前記複数の列引出し電極306とは、交叉して、複数の格子314が形成されている。隣接する二本の前記行引出し電極304と、隣接する二本の前記列引出し電極306とは、一つの前記格子314に形成されている。各々の前記格子の中に、一つの前記電子放出ユニット320を設置する。短路することを防止するために、前記複数の行引出し電極304と、前記複数の列引出し電極306とが交叉した領域に、それぞれ一つの絶縁層316を設置する。本実施例において、前記行引出し電極304の長手方向は、X方向と定義され、前記列引出し電極306の長手方向は、Y方向と定義されている。

Claims (3)
- 絶縁基板と、該絶縁基板に設置した複数の電子放出ユニットと、複数の行引出し電極と、複数の列引出し電極と、を含む電界放出装置において、
前記複数の行引出し電極と、前記複数の列引出し電極とは、電気絶縁的に交叉して、複数の格子を形成しており、
各々の前記格子の中に、一つの前記電子放出ユニットが設置され、
一つの前記電子放出ユニットは、陽極電極と、陰極電極と、蛍光層と、陰極エミッタと、第一集束電極と、第二集束電極と、を含み、
前記陽極電極は、前記行引出し電極に接続され、前記陰極電極は、前記列引出し電極に接続され、
前記陰極エミッタは、前記陽極電極及び陰極電極の間に設置され、その一つの端部は前記陰極電極に接続され、そのもう一つの端部は前記陽極電極に対向し、
前記蛍光層は、前記陽極電極の前記絶縁基板に隣接する表面とは反対の表面に形成され、
前記第一集束電極及び第二集束電極は、それぞれ前記列引出し電極に接続され、前記行引出し電極及び前記陽極電極と絶縁的に設置され、前記陰極エミッタの両側に設置されていることを特徴とする電界放出装置。 - 前記第二集束電極の長さは、前記陽極電極の前記陰極エミッタに対向する表面から、前記陰極電極の前記列引出し電極に接続した表面までの距離より大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
- 前記第一集束電極又は第二集束電極を、前記陰極エミッタ及び前記陽極電極より厚く設けることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電界放出装置。
