図1は、本発明に係る車輪用軸受装置の第1の実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2は、図1の正面図、図3は、図1のハブ輪単体を示す正面図、図4は、車輪取付フランジの面振れの測定方法を示す説明図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウター側(図1の左側)、中央寄り側をインナー側(図1の右側)という。

Claims (7)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
この内方部材と前記外方部材の各転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体とを備え、
前記外方部材と内方部材のうちどちらか一方の部材のアウター側の端部に車輪を取り付けるための車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、この車輪取付フランジの周方向等配にボルト孔が形成され、これらボルト孔にハブボルトが固定されて前記車輪が固定される車輪用軸受装置において、
前記車輪取付フランジの外周の前記ボルト孔の近傍を避けて各ボルト孔間に切欠き部が形成され、この切欠き部が、その最深部と前記ボルト孔のピッチ円直径とが近接するように円弧状に形成されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記切欠き部が、前記ボルト孔のピッチ円直径よりも外径側にあり、前記車輪取付フランジの外周面と滑らかに繋ると共に、前記切欠き部の曲率中心が、前記車輪取付フランジの中心から隣り合う前記各ボルト孔間の中心の延長線上にあって、その曲率半径R1が前記ボルト孔のピッチ円直径PCDbに対してR1=0.7〜1.5PCDbに設定されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記車輪取付フランジのインナー側の側面に複数の補強リブが肉盛り状に設けられ、この補強リブが、前記各ボルト孔の形成部分と略同じ幅でもって、前記車輪取付フランジの環状の基部から放射状に形成されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記車輪取付フランジを有する部材が、熱間の密閉鍛造により形成されている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記内方部材が前記車輪取付フランジを有し、外周に軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪と、このハブ輪の小径段部に圧入された少なくとも1つの内輪で構成されている請求項1乃至4にいずれか記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外方部材が前記車輪取付フランジを有し、前記内方部材が一対の内輪で構成されている請求項1乃至4にいずれか記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記内方部材が、アウター側の端部に前記車輪取付フランジを有し、外周に前記複列の外側転走面の一方に対向する内側転走面と、この内側転走面から軸方向に延びる円筒状の小径段部と、内周に硬化された凹凸部がそれぞれ形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に嵌合され、外周に前記複列の外側転走面の他方に対向する内側転走面と、この内側転走面から軸方向に延びる中空状のステム部が一体に形成された等速自在継手の外側継手部材で構成され、前記ハブ輪に内嵌される前記ステム部の嵌合部を拡径させて前記凹凸部に食い込ませて加締め、前記ハブ輪と外側継手部材とが一体に塑性結合されている請求項1乃至4にいずれか記載の車輪用軸受装置。
