Abstract
Description
・主軸が工具を受け渡す工具交換座標に移動する。
・工具交換装置が主軸に取り付けられている工具を把持する。
・主軸が工具をアンクランプする。
・主軸と工具(工具交換装置)とが相対移動し、工具を主軸から引き抜く。
・工具交換装置が、把持している次の工具を主軸の位置に移動させる。
・主軸と次の工具(工具交換装置)とが相対移動し、工具を主軸に挿入する。
・主軸が次の工具をクランプする。
・工具交換装置が次の工具の把持を解除する。
図1に示すように、工作機械1は、床面に設置されるベース部2と、ベース部2から上方(図1中のZ1方向)に向けて立ち上がるコラム部3と、コラム部3の前面側(図1中の左側)に配置される主軸ユニット4と、主軸ユニット4とコラム部3との間に設けられ、主軸ユニット4をZ軸に沿う上下方向(図1中のZ1方向及びZ2方向)に移動させる主軸移動装置5と、ベース部2上に設けられ、上面にワークWを支持するテーブルユニット6と、主軸ユニット4の近傍に配置される工具交換装置7と、を備える。
図7において、主軸41には、工作機械1に使用される複数の工具Tのうちの最小サイズの工具T1が取り付けられている。最初に、この工具T1を、工作機械1に使用される複数の工具Tのうちの最大サイズの工具T2に交換する場合について説明する。

Claims (3)
- 主軸と、
前記主軸に対する工具の取り付け及び取り外しを行う工具交換装置と、
前記工具交換装置による前記工具の取り付け及び取り外しの際に、前記主軸を工具交換座標へ移動させる主軸移動装置と、
前記工具交換装置による前記工具の取り付け及び取り外しの際に、予め設定された前記工具毎に関連付けられた複数の工具交換座標のうち、前記主軸に取り付けられる取り付け対象工具に関連付けられた第1の工具交換座標と前記主軸から取り外される取り外し対象工具に関連付けられた第2の工具交換座標とに基づいて、前記第1の工具交換座標及び前記第2の工具交換座標のうちの加工点から遠い方の前記工具交換座標へ前記主軸を移動させるように前記主軸移動装置を制御する工具交換制御部と、
を備える、工作機械。 - 前記工具交換装置は、前記工具の取り付け及び取り外しの際に前記工具を前記工具交換座標に移動させるように構成され、
前記工具交換座標は、前記工具交換装置が前記取り付け対象工具及び前記取り外し対象工具を前記主軸に対するクランプ位置及びアンクランプ位置にそれぞれ移動させる座標である、請求項1に記載の工作機械。 - 前記工具交換座標は、前記主軸が前記取り付け対象工具及び前記取り外し対象工具のクランプ及びアンクランプを行う座標である、請求項1又は2に記載の工作機械。
