Claims (22)
- ガス流中の揮発性有機化合物と反応するための材料であって、金属酸化物粒子を多孔質吸着剤の少なくとも外面に形成された細孔に含浸させた多孔質吸着剤を含む材料。
- 前記多孔質吸着剤はさらにゼオライトを含み、前記金属酸化物粒子はさらに酸化マンガン(MnOx)を含む、請求項1に記載の材料。
- 酸化マンガン粒子はゼオライトの0.5〜2.0重量%の範囲内にある、請求項2に記載の材料。
- 前記多孔質吸着剤はさらに活性炭を含み、前記金属酸化物粒子はさらに酸化マンガン(MnOx)を含む、請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記酸化マンガン粒子が、約100から約400ナノメートルのサイズ範囲内である、請求項4に記載の材料。
- 前記活性炭が、約800から約1,300平方メートル/グラムの間の単位質量当たりの表面積を有する、請求項4に記載の材料。
- 前記活性炭のサイズが約10ミクロン〜約4.0ミリメートルの範囲内にある、請求項4に記載の材料。
- 酸化マンガン粒子が、炭素の0.5〜5.0重量%の範囲にある、請求項4に記載の材料。
- ガス流中で揮発性有機化合物と反応するための材料であって、
(a)少なくとも第1の多孔質吸着剤の外面に形成された細孔に金属酸化物粒子を含浸させた第1の多孔質吸着剤と、
(b)少なくとも第2の多孔質吸着剤の外面に形成された細孔にイオンのアルカリ塩を含浸させた第2の多孔質吸着剤と、を含む材料。 - 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤がゼオライトをさらに含み、前記金属酸化物粒子が酸化マンガン(MnOx)をさらに含み、前記第2の多孔質吸着剤がゼオライトをさらに含み、前記イオンのアルカリ塩がカリウムイオンをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の材料。
- 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤が約40〜50重量%を構成し、前記第2の多孔質吸着剤が約50〜60重量%を構成する、請求項10に記載の材料。
- 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤がさらに活性炭を含み、前記金属酸化物粒子がさらに酸化マンガン(MnOx)を含み、前記第2の多孔質吸着剤がさらに活性炭を含み、前記イオンのアルカリ塩がカリウムイオンをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の材料。
- 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤が約40〜50重量%を構成し、前記第2の多孔質吸着剤が約50〜60重量%を構成する、請求項12に記載の材料。
- そこに濾材が配置されたガス流から少なくとも揮発性有機化合物を除去するための濾材であって、少なくとも第1の多孔質吸着剤の外面に形成された細孔に金属酸化物粒子を含浸させた第1の多孔質吸着剤を含む濾材。
- 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤がゼオライトをさらに含み、前記金属酸化物粒子が酸化マンガン(MnOx)をさらに含む、請求項14に記載の濾材。
- 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤が活性炭をさらに含み、前記金属酸化物粒子が酸化マンガン(MnOx)をさらに含む、請求項14に記載の濾材。
- 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤がガス透過性パネルに取り付けられている、請求項16に記載の濾材。
- 前記ガス透過性パネルが繊維ウェブに隣接している、請求項17に記載の濾材。
- 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤が繊維状ウェブに取り付けられている、請求項16に記載の濾材。
- 前記多孔質吸着剤の外面に形成された少なくとも細孔内にイオンのアルカリ塩を含浸させた第2の多孔質吸着剤をさらに含む、請求項19に記載の濾材。
- 前記イオンのアルカリ塩がカリウムイオンをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の濾材。
- 前記第1の多孔質吸着剤が約40〜50重量%を構成し、前記第2の多孔質吸着剤が約50〜60重量%を構成する、請求項21に記載の濾材。
