Abstract
【解決手段】活性炭素繊維の断片で構成された繊維層(不織布)からなり、電極の有効容量表面積を増大せるために、構成繊維の50%以上が実質的に同一の繊維直径とアスペクト比を有し、半連続的なコンダクタンス経路を提供し、粒子境界での接触部分を減らす様にアスペクト比が1より大きく2以下を満たすことによって達成することができる。前記50%を上回る部分の活性炭素繊維の断片以外の活性炭素繊維の断片の長さが、前記50%を上回る部分の活性炭素繊維の断片の長さよりも大きい繊維材料。

Claims (9)
- 活性炭素繊維から生成された活性炭素繊維の断片を含む繊維材料であって、
前記活性炭素繊維の断片が同一の直径を有しており、前記活性炭素繊維の断片のうちの50%を上回る部分の全ての活性炭素繊維の断片が同一のアスペクト比を有し、半連続的なコンダクタンスの経路を提供し、且つ粒子境界での接触部分を減らすように該アスペクト比は1より大きく2以下である、繊維材料。 - 前記50%を上回る部分の活性炭素繊維の断片以外の活性炭素繊維の断片の長さが、前記50%を上回る部分の活性炭素繊維の断片の長さよりも大きい、請求項2に記載の繊維材料。
- 前記活性炭素繊維の断片の前記直径は15ミクロン(μm)未満である、請求項1に記載の繊維材料。
- 前記活性炭素繊維の断片の前記直径は10ミクロン(μm)未満である、請求項1に記載の繊維材料。
- 圧密損失は50%未満である、請求項1に記載の繊維材料。
- 電極において、
電流コレクタと、
前記電流コレクタの少なくとも一部分を覆っている繊維層であって、前記繊維層は、活性炭素繊維から生成された活性炭素繊維の断片を含み、前記活性炭素繊維の断片は同一の直径を有しており、前記活性炭素繊維の断片のうちの50%を上回る部分の全ての活性炭素繊維の断片は同一のアスペクト比を有し、半連続的なコンダクタンスの経路を提供し、且つ粒子境界での接触部分を減らすように該アスペクト比は1より大きく2以下である、繊維層と、を含んでいる電極。 - 前記活性炭素繊維の断片のうちの90%を上回る部分の各活性炭素繊維の断片は同一のアスペクト比を有し、該アスペクト比は1より大きく2以下である、請求項6に記載の電極。
- 前記繊維層の厚さは、200ミクロン(μm)以下である、請求項6に記載の電極。
- 前記50%を上回る部分の活性炭素繊維の断片以外の活性炭素繊維の断片の長さが、前記50%を上回る部分の活性炭素繊維の断片の長さよりも大きい、請求項6に記載の電極。
